Update 10th April Devs have informed me that a price drop is coming they're waiting for the for steam approval. Also free loco being implemented so this makes it a much more attractive purchase. An average VR escape the room game with a horror aspect which includes a couple of jump scares. It would be a recommend if priced at $10 Australian but $18.50 is a little high so pick up on sale or in a bundle it will surely turn up in. A couple of the puzzles are easy but it does have some harder ones and one that you have to guess one of the answers as I was unable to find it. Anyway attached video has a review and then after 3 minutes there are spoilers on all the puzzles if you are stuck. There are time stamps on the youtube comment section so you can go right to the puzzle and not spoil others. https://youtu.be/IbGWIoAGKSY Recommended but buy on sale.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program I wanted to do a full review of this game, but unfortunately, I got stuck in one of the puzzle rooms. As such, I can only do an initial impressions review. This is a horror puzzle / escape room game. The only current method of locomotion is teleportation. You can only turn by physically doing so. You start off each puzzle with a note / riddle as to how to proceed. The puzzles do start easy as you're only looking for fuses. However, soon you're looking for another mystery item and it can be difficult to see it fall down if you're not paying attention. The next puzzle I found very difficult, mostly because the clues were difficult to spot. You really do need to pay close attention to the objects. In fact, I have only been able to find 3 of the 4 clues you're supposed to find in the 2nd puzzle room. However, I was still able to progress by guessing the missing clue through trial and error (and I had done it earlier than that with only having 2 of the 4 clues solved). The next room is rather easy as long as you pay attention to the riddle. And I am stuck at the following puzzle room. I found clues on the TV and the clock and I have a code, but I am unsure on how to use that code. I have looked everywhere for a place or object to use that code on and finally just gave up. Hopefully, some kind stranger can help me. My initial impression is that I did like the puzzles, although they were kind of obtuse. What I mean by that is that you're just solving puzzles to solve them and then that unlocks the next area, but the unlocking the next area and the puzzles have no correlation to each other. I prefer escape rooms where they figure out imaginative ways to connect the puzzles to your current situation. Obviously, I did not like teleportation only and no snap or smooth turning. I really did not like the main menu area which is very clunky. I did like the game's atmosphere. I can't really comment too much on the story as I have not finished the game, but it seems to not be a focus of the game so far. So is this game worth $12.99 or $9.09 USD? Well, If you like puzzle games, then this has some nice brain teasers. If you don't like escape rooms, then this game won't change your mind. In any event, I can't really fairly rate this game as I haven't finished it. You can see my gameplay (SPOILER ALERT!) here though & decide if it looks interesting enough for you to purchase: https://youtu.be/PKzc3MgJpT8 Rating TBD. Neutral recommendation for now (until I'm able to beat the game).

This is one of my favourite games in VR right now, the mixture of escape the room puzzles and horror is something i haven't seen before but works really well. I got very into trying to figure out the puzzles and forgetting this was a horror game and getting scared out my socks :'D Did a review on my channel on YouTube and it looks like i'm not the only one that like this style of puzzle games - http://bit.ly/2G9A814 5Star
this game looked promising considering I like horror/puzzle games but after getting stuck for 30 minutes in the very first room trying to find a simple fuse, I refunded it while I still could. Graphics, lighting and sound seemed good, but got angry and had to give up. will probably buy later when someone tells me where that damn 4th fuse is

I tried to give this one a chance, despite being immediately put off by a clunky menu interface and inability to get smooth locomotion working on my left controller. Ended up walking up and down the same dark hallway for half an hour looking for tiny objects on the floor. Finally found four fuses and turned the lights on and then... nothing. All the doors are still locked, no new clues were provided. I'd already examined every square inch of the hallway in the dark, I'm certainly not going to do it again with lights on. I'm a huge fan of games that require patience and don't hold a player's hand, and I've completed tons of other puzzle/escape rooms in VR. This one simply isn't interesting or enjoyable. Honestly not even worth the current asking price of $2.29.
This game was awful. I constantly clipped into rooms. The dials are torture and are the scariest part about this game. By the time you get to the end, you are too pissed at the radio to be scared.
Searching for tiny hidden objects in VR is not fun. It is not fun in real life either. Imagine enjoying losing your car keys. The game needs to put a border around the items we are looking for - particularly if they are very small.
For only $2? Sure, why not.
This is essentially an escape-the-room style game with some jumpscares. The puzzles aren't that bad and neither is the ambiance, but the scares do feel forced. Then again, the game is nearly free, and if you've already played every other escape room game on Steam you might as well try this one.
First things first: I don't particularly like jump scares. Even worse if you can predict them easily, like in this case. But the good news is that that was the only thing I didn't like. :) The game has a nice eerie atmosphere throughout and the puzzles are very well done. Oh, I forgot: There was one scene near the end where all of a sudden you can't move, i.e. the view is "glued" to the headset for that scene, which is an absolute no-go. That was very jarring. Overall I really enjoyed this game. I only wish it had more rooms. The ending came all to soon.. :)
