If you are into fractals or fractal flames, stationary or as movies, this is a beast of a software offering. At first, just play with random batches. Then try the controls for changing the position and rotation of the onscreen "triangles" that control the transformations, which are what makes the goodness! This product has been under active development ever since I started using the Windows version of it many years ago and it keeps getting more powerful and more interesting.

I haven't seen many people mention how similar JWildfire is to Apophysis. For me, JWildfire is like Apophysis remade from scratch. The two are so similar that I would even recommend using Apophysis tutorials to get started. If you [b]have[/b] used Apophysis, you shouldn't have much of a problem getting into JWildfire. You can even import/load the files created with Apophysis.

A bit of a learning curve but have created some amazing fractals.

Fun just to do random 'fractal flame' drawings. Intensely deep if you want to control and/or animate them.
