Just Waiting Cats

[H1]Naming cats one dopamine boost at the time![/H1] I am not an idler person. They’re usually slow, not fun, and just not really my thing overall. And yet, here I am, actually enjoying this one. The whole “gameplay” is literally waiting for a timer in the left upper corner to tick down so another cat pops into existence. That’s it. Wait long enough, collect them all, and boom! 100% in about 1h30. Somehow, it worked perfectly for my brain, especially on a low-energy, distracted day. It helps that everything is just adorable. You can name every single cat (which is way more fun than it should be), the music is easy to mute if needed (no sound slider though), and there’s zero pressure at any point. Achievements are simple, clear, and follow normal completion, so you’re never wondering what to do next. That said, there’s really nothing beyond the waiting. Whether that sounds relaxing or painfully dull will depend entirely on you. For me, it was a surprisingly nice little 1h30 reset, especially when my neurodivergent brain refused to function properly. The most useless game you absolutely need! A lot of cats to meet, they will stare at you all day, and you will like it! The art is really cool and the cats are fun. They do absolutely nothing, like real cats.

Amazing game, have all achievments and the cats are sooo cute, have not played enough of this game yet! Worth every cent!

I love the sound when the cats appear. Would be so much fun to have an option to get some color on the background while waiting for more cats to arrive <3

KRÓTKA PIŁKA: Czy twórca chciał zrobić adaptację "Czekając na Godota"? To nie jest gra - mamy jedną planszę i co kilka minut pojawia się kot i trzeba poczekać, aż pojawi się ich 30. I koniec! Nie ma tu absolutnie nic więcej. Żadnych pomysłów, interakcji, sekretów, no zupełnie nic! Żeby tu chociaż były różne zwierzaki a nie monotonne koty... Ale to wygląda jak steam prank tylko dla fanów kotów i to baaaaaardzo cierpliwych. ;) Takie eksperymenty powinny być jednak za friko. Na plus super łatwe achivki. :) Rada 1: Polecam wcześniejszą grę tego samego twórcy - mam na myśli MY VOICE ZOO. Świetny pomysł i znacznie więcej dobrej zabawy, gdzie możemy budować i udźwiękowić naszym głosem prywatne zoo. Gorąco polecam, bo to fajna gra od TRUSO! Rada 2: A jak lubcie kotki na czarno białej planszy, to polecam pobrać ze Steam darmowe gry z serii "100 kotów", gdzie musimy znaleźć koty ukryte na mapce. Tam musimy się wykazać spostrzegawczością. W przypadku "Just Waiting Cats" tytuł wskazuje, co dostajecie. Tylko sporo czekania.
