Easy to lose time with this, but it's made for multi-tasking. Quick runs, cute art, and some of that “just one more” feel. Died a lot being greedy.
This reminds me of the Flash games of years past. Pick a class, smash and loot all of the shiny's. If you don't like the loot try a re-roll and go again. Good fun and addictive with some amusing old school humor to hide your game at work.
Fun and very simple dungeon crawler. It's a linear progression and after a long day of life, it's nice to be able to just play a game that doesn't require complex mechanics (though you could probably get into it with crafting but I'm not a crafter). Like others I got greedy constantly and lost loot when I died but at least you don't loose everything which would be demoralizing. I like the art, and there was an easter egg I wasn't expecting in the Boss button... haha.
Perfect game for when you're not sure what to play. I keep it running while painting warhammer or watching something on the side. Artwork is cute, mechanics are straightforward and there's no agonising choices to make, just keep looting and upgrading.
This game is pretty fun and controls are easy to navigate. The characters are so cute!
A fun and addictive game, perfect for clearing your mind between daily tasks or after a long day at work.
This could be so much better. It might not just up and crash while looting after battles. It also might not advance mob levels so fast that it is very, very difficult to get past even level 1 of the dungeon. If I wanted frustrating, I would not have gotten a game that billed itself as being easy to pick up and put down. I'd like to be able to feel like progress (dungeon depth) and use of game features (transforming items) were relatively easy to experience. I'm beginning to think that it is non-trivial to get more than a few battles in to dungeon level one without some serious brain off grinding of the first easy-peasy mob of the first dungeon level; where's the fun of doing one or two non-challenging mob hits, exiting the dungeon, repeatedly, just to get enough cash to make it possible to visit the low inventory store enough to hoard up an insane number of potions to last a dungeon level? (Whoever heard of an RPG store that, for example, only carries one healing potion per visit most of the time?) The store has so few items, even if you saved up the funds over a number of trips, you could not hope to get enough potions for a long crawl without meaningless in-and-outs of the dungeon so restocks of the store permit getting quantities needed. I can't really even fathom what this must be like at higher levels to get through more than one level of the dungeon - since mobs auto-level quickly (more than one level per encounter) with the lowest level encounters such that the player is on-level with the second encounter and under-level on the third. Level one of the dungeon should not be so challenging to get through! Disappointing to have paid for this experience. I had hopes for a fun time waster, but it's proving to be a put-off instead. Another reason for this is that the whole alchemy thing of transforming loot to other items appears way too difficult to try out. The sheer number of items needed puts this feature largely out-of-reach for casual players (unless, perhaps, one just saves up money and store visits to buy alchemy items), but then buying things to transform seems a bit silly). In the end, this review asks who really wants a grind of a time waster anyway? * Mob level progression is far too fast. * Potion unavailability seems quite pointless. * Transforming items could be improved by allowing mixed rarity levels (high rarity items treated as the lowest rarity item in the list). * It should not be necessary to exit the dungeon before mobs are challenging just to get another set of store items, or to just try to stock up on potions so one can make it past over-level mobs (before facing a boss). On the other hand, the following seem well thought out: * Graphics / sound. * Not having to walk back to the dungeon exit. * Linear progression for sake of making short sessions possible. * Ability to buy item levels does at least offset the paltry inventory count of the store. * The amount of gold loot per battle seems reasonable (sadly negated by the store lacking sufficient potions per store visit).
Garbage. There is just barely a game here. The difference between the 3 classes are stat distribution and gear type. However, there is nothing unique about the different types of gear so it makes no meaningful difference. As far as game play goes, you press 'move' and watch the guy move forward until it meets an enemy. Combat consists of deciding whether or not to use a potion on a given turn and if you want to use a special or a normal attack. That's it. They didn't even bother writing some flair text about the special attack. For all intents and purposes, they are identical across the 3 classes. Once you have won, you can either move forward or go back to the tavern where you can stash loot, reforge it or upgrade it. Then you start over again. Most mobile games have more interaction than this
This game is surprisingly good but please add 2 things, being able to see what an item can possibly reroll to and the ability to respec character points
Fun and addictive dungeon crawler!
