Управление отзывчивое, что особенно важно в таких играх, где малейшая неточность может стоить прохождения уровня. Визуальный стиль минималистичен, но при этом очень стильный и не отвлекает от главного — преодоления препятствий. Музыкальное сопровождение идеально дополняет атмосферу, подогревая азарт и заставляя сердце биться чаще. Прогрессия ощущается плавно, новые механики и испытания вводятся ненавязчиво, не давая заскучать. Это та игра, в которую можно залипнуть на час, а потом обнаружить, что прошло уже полдня. Отличный выбор для коротких игровых сессий или когда хочется просто отвлечься и проверить свою реакцию.

I love the concept for this game the whole aesthetic is super cool and I love the 80's style of everything, from the colors to the cutscenes to the fonts. All good design choices. The Runner's controls feel super tight and the sprite work is well done. 6/10

Big thanks to Isaiah Jordan for providing me with a review copy. Just Another Runner is a short game with a simply concept, run away from this constantly moving wall of static. It presents a fair bit of challenge as you run through four levels. There is somewhat of a story that more references the levels than directly influences them. My favorite part was definitely the fake commercials sections. Pros Simple Well Designed Free Funny moments Cons Last level can be tricky to solve The wall of static I think represents the past while the levels and concept is about being the futility and struggles of being in a small/tiny town. If taken literal, the game could be viewed as dabbling in the horror genre. This neverending, ceaseless wall of static that swallows everything in its path is coming for you. All you can do is run, run, and run but in the end, the static will get you. Or you know, it could just be a game about running.
