Way too much fun for how simple it really is. Incredibly addicting gameplay with massive replay value. I will say, maybe my only gripe with the game IS that after a certain amount of playtime it does start to feel kind of same-y. Like past 130 hours maybe I didn't find all that much value in playing it, routes especially feel repetitive, potentially because stuff like the boss of the first base is always the same and the bases pretty much start in the same way every run too. Like this game, plus a whole lot of additional variety could turn this into a game with literally infinite replay value. I would rank Jupiter Hell just sort of under the echelon of other similar fun games like Binding of Isaac, or Dungeons of Dredmor. Really, I feel like Dungeons of Dredmor does this but with a lot more variety in terms of enemies, loot, and classes.
