Jumper Jape

Very nice game.

The type of game that fulfills the wish for more in a specific style. Doesn't do anything over the original Jumper games, and actually takes a few steps back. No wall jump like in 2, edgier but slightly drabber story, level design slightly worse, uglier art style, and it's just kind of like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ short romp (as reviewers like to say). All to say: it's a 6/10 spiritual successor to a 7/10 original.

10/10 would jump out of cliff in frustration again.

This one definitely has legitimate challenge, but it still needs work. Some of the hit detection on the spikes feels off by a hair and the expected precision seems a bit much. There's also the issue with some of the stages being a little too long for the difficulty they present, especially the final stage. One final note, this game can be beaten in under 2 hours.

Good gameplay. Fun for people who like to avoid obstacles when we have precision platformers to play.

It is a good game. The platforming is tight and the flaws are small and infrequent. It's comparable to super meat boy because the platforming is difficult, fair, and you usually can plan a way through the level from a safe starting point. There are also a few interesting NPCs that there could have been more of. I give this a 42 out of no number in particular.
