Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Another world needed a hero. It got you instead: no gear, no coin, starting from the bottom with an F-Rank stamp on your Adventurer's Guild License. Journeybound Idle is a fantasy idle RPG about the long climb from being a F-Rank rookie to an S-Rank legend, one log, one ore, and one monster at a time.
There are no cheat powers in this new life of yours. Chop, mine, fish, and forage across wild territories. Smith, cook, fletch, tailor, and brew what you gather into gear worth carrying. Work the task board, slay enemies, pass promotion exams, and earn your way into deadlier territories. Queue up work while you watch, or let the game run in the corner of your screen using the desktop widget while you live your life. The Guild keeps the ledger either way.

A Guild career from Rank F to Rank S. This is not a small, or short, idle game. Seven ranks of tasks, milestones, and promotion exams, each opening new regions, gear, and enemies. Stories to experience, friends to meet, and a journey to a realm beyond your own.
17 skills to level. Martial, Ranged, Incantation, and Fortitude carry you in combat. Grovecraft, Stonecraft, Tidecraft, and Wyldcraft supply your materials; Blacksmithing, Cooking, Fletching, Artisanry, Tailoring, Willbending, and Alchemy turn them into gear worth carrying. Round it out with a growing farmstead and the Sanctum, where offerings unlock a grid for discoverable relics and their bonuses.
165 monsters across 32 hunting grounds. Your enemies will use combat styles as well. With the auto-battle style system, you will face all sorts of special attacks, ailments, and resistances. Tons of rare loot is waiting to be farmed and found!
8 dungeons. Prove each promotion in the field, then face the endgame trials. You will be auto-eating your meals and auto-drinking a wide variety of potions to survive. Slot in up to five different unique abilities of the 32, many with varying ranks and ways to be unlocked. You will have plenty of strategizing to do if you want to maximize efficiency.
114 discovery quests. A town of recurring characters with their own arcs, tavern rumors worth chasing, and a story that follows your whole career. Come to know many new friends! Help them, and see how they help you in return. Your story is your journey, and it will span from Hearthhome into realms unknown.
1,300+ items. Weapons, armor, tools, potions, food, and boss relics, with a collection log tracking every last one. There are tons of unique and special items to discover in Journeybound. Each was designed with a purpose and use, ensuring a constant stream of upgrades as you progress.
Companions and a farmstead. Hire companions, pay them an hourly gold wage for their assistance. The friends you make on your journey may also offer to help you gather and craft. Unlock slots and have up to three companions at a time! Your farmstead grows alongside you. Unlock new plots and ways to automate your farm, and plant crops that keep producing even while the game is closed.
An estate to claim. Restore the Keep and awaken the Sanctum beneath for permanent power that carries the late game. A true stretch goal, the Keep's bonuses are balanced to be worth the investment.
A proper tavern. Minigames & Music! Play dice, blackjack, and rune wheels while chopping trees or fighting goblins. Bet your accumulated gold, and see if you can hit the x5,000 jackpot on the rune wheels.
Desktop widget mode. Shrink the whole game into a small always-on-top widget and let your adventurer work the edge of your screen. It will reflect the UI theme you choose, and display notifications for in-game events, so you never miss a thing.
116 achievements, earnable titles, and an original soundtrack.
Hello! I'm Nick, the solo indie developer of Journeybound Idle. I've spent an absurd number of hours designing and creating this game, and I couldn't be more excited to finally bring it to you. It's my first game, so I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did making it.
I wanted to write a quick note about a few things. First, the positives: This game has absolutely no data collection or telemetry of any kind. I am tired of games taking and selling our data. I refuse to take part in such practices, so you'll notice my game has no need for a Privacy Policy. The same goes for having absolutely no pay-to-win microtransactions, forced time gating, or similar practices. You can just play the game, as it should be. My game has one optional Supporter Pack DLC, which only includes a UI theme and an alterative soundtrack. Many months ago, I considered launching in Early Access, but decided instead to spend many sleepless nights and bring you the entire, complete game from day one.
I also want to be upfront about the negatives. As a solo developer, I unfortunately cannot afford to hire artists or creators, so the media in my game is a mix of AI-generated and hand-edited/crafted. I would love to have my assets professionally made, but the cost of somewhere around two thousand icons, portraits, and other media assets would be far more than I can afford as just some guy working alone. I've done my best to create the best art and sounds with the tools I have access to, trying extremely hard to make things you will enjoy. If this game were to ever be successful enough, I'd love to hire professional artists one day to remake my assets (and for my future games). I thank you for your understanding, and I hope the game is good enough to get me there eventually!

Good entry in this particular style of game. It’s incredibly slow paced with achievement milestones though so that combined with the gameplay means you don’t really feel like you’re doing anything. Typically in these games I’ve played you get a ton of achievements some faster some slower to help you feel a since of accomplishment as you be idly progress. If you can deal with not feeling that for a very long time have at it. It’s easier to get into and prettier looking UI than typical. Tentative recommend though I didn’t personally enjoy my 2 hours because I had no carrot on a stick.

Journey Bound is a fun and relaxing idle game with satisfying progression and plenty to keep you coming back. It’s easy to pick up, rewarding without feeling overly complicated, and perfect for checking in throughout the day. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy idle RPGs.
Love this genre overall, this game while has some good notes overall the design decisions kill it for me Pro - Clean interface, easy to grok, easy to navigate Not so bad - Minimal amount of skills, so there's not a lot of variety Bad - The skills have bottlenecked hard caps. As an example your total skill levels need to be X to go beyond 39 max. This forces a gameplay loop that is incredible restrictive and not fun. Any choice is gone, any progression is very formulaic and the result is boring. Ok great, you got enough skills to 39 to unlock the next tier? Grats now do it again with 59 max except this time the total skill level needed is even more aggressive making you go to skills you don't enjoy Waste of money
IN SHORT Story 3/10 Playability 9/10 Game lenght 10/10 Sound 6/10 Graphics 7/10 Difficulty 2/5 (higher = more difficult) Value 5/5 Great idle RPG. Finally some alternative to Melvor! IN DETAILS Pros: + truly idle game. You set your character to a task like "mine iron ore" and he mines that ore until you make him stop. You can also set a number for each action like "mine iron ore X times" + you can also hire companions and make them work for you with lower efficiency but they are still very usefull + all actions are pretty clear and straight forward + a lot of areas to exploit: gathering resources, crafting, fighting, farming, upgrading you household etc. + when it comes to fighting you got 3 styles: martial (melee), ranged and incantation (magic). Your enemies also represent one of these styles and there is a classical counter: martial > ranged > incantation > martial. Each style grants unique battle abilities. All of these make fighting diverse and a little demanding + a lot of battle areas to explore, each with different enemy types and loots + a lot of unique side quests + as game description says: over tousand of items to gather, loot or craft + pretty good grapfics + cozy and relaxing music Cons: - I think items should have tooltips. In couple cases I was really strugling until I found some guides on game Discord or Steam forum. What I am missing: if you move cursor over item it should tell you where to get the item from - quest storylines are quite boring and generic. At first I was reading through them all but after certain point I just started skipping them SUMMARY: Journeybound Idle is the best idle RPG I have found so far. I think its better than popular Melvor Idle, but its a personal choice. Its totaly worth the full price especialy that it will estimately take around 300-400 hours to complete the game
As someone who has 100% Melvor Idle and is eagerly awaiting Melvor Idle 2 this game offers a great new look at the genre. I really like the quest system so far and I'll be 100% this game too. I'm so excited to see how this continues to evolve and develop. I really like the art style of the sprites as well. If I was to make any suggestion I would love to see how much of something I already have in my inventory when I'm on the gathering/crafting screens.
its nice if you clean similar games like melvor. Some feed back to dev from experienced idle gamer. Sorry for mistakes, my english is g*y. 1. Some rare items from bosses for example 15 lvl more weak then common 10 lvl crafted for same slot. 2. Main character can not work offline, only companions can. Why? Its wrong and not make happy. 3. Too complicated check loot in bestiary. Why just dont show loot and % in zones/dungeons menu? Change this and game have +100 usability. Very tired open bestiary every few mins. 4. Add few new skills like Thieving for make gold and some Meditation with global passive bonuses. And something new, what not have in similar games. 5. Add special tab for gear. Few times sell what i use. Or function blocking items. 6. One hand weapon not usable bcz skills scaling from power. One hand must have reduce skills cooldowns. 7. Some skills useless - like 8% to armor or power. Must be 30-40%. 8. Companions must have chance to obtain rare items. maybe 50% from normal. Main hero must grind low lvl locations for finding seeds or animals, its very not likebl.
