Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Another world needed a hero. It got you instead: no gear, no coin, starting from the bottom with an F-Rank stamp on your Adventurer's Guild License. Journeybound Idle is a fantasy idle RPG about the long climb from being a F-Rank rookie to an S-Rank legend, one log, one ore, and one monster at a time.
There are no cheat powers in this new life of yours. Chop, mine, fish, and forage across wild territories. Smith, cook, fletch, tailor, and brew what you gather into gear worth carrying. Work the task board, slay enemies, pass promotion exams, and earn your way into deadlier territories. Queue up work while you watch, or let the game run in the corner of your screen using the desktop widget while you live your life. The Guild keeps the ledger either way.

A Guild career from Rank F to Rank S. This is not a small, or short, idle game. Seven ranks of tasks, milestones, and promotion exams, each opening new regions, gear, and enemies. Stories to experience, friends to meet, and a journey to a realm beyond your own.
17 skills to level. Martial, Ranged, Incantation, and Fortitude carry you in combat. Grovecraft, Stonecraft, Tidecraft, and Wyldcraft supply your materials; Blacksmithing, Cooking, Fletching, Artisanry, Tailoring, Willbending, and Alchemy turn them into gear worth carrying. Round it out with a growing farmstead and the Sanctum, where offerings unlock a grid for discoverable relics and their bonuses.
165 monsters across 32 hunting grounds. Your enemies will use combat styles as well. With the auto-battle style system, you will face all sorts of special attacks, ailments, and resistances. Tons of rare loot is waiting to be farmed and found!
8 dungeons. Prove each promotion in the field, then face the endgame trials. You will be auto-eating your meals and auto-drinking a wide variety of potions to survive. Slot in up to five different unique abilities of the 32, many with varying ranks and ways to be unlocked. You will have plenty of strategizing to do if you want to maximize efficiency.
114 discovery quests. A town of recurring characters with their own arcs, tavern rumors worth chasing, and a story that follows your whole career. Come to know many new friends! Help them, and see how they help you in return. Your story is your journey, and it will span from Hearthhome into realms unknown.
1,300+ items. Weapons, armor, tools, potions, food, and boss relics, with a collection log tracking every last one. There are tons of unique and special items to discover in Journeybound. Each was designed with a purpose and use, ensuring a constant stream of upgrades as you progress.
Companions and a farmstead. Hire companions, pay them an hourly gold wage for their assistance. The friends you make on your journey may also offer to help you gather and craft. Unlock slots and have up to three companions at a time! Your farmstead grows alongside you. Unlock new plots and ways to automate your farm, and plant crops that keep producing even while the game is closed.
An estate to claim. Restore the Keep and awaken the Sanctum beneath for permanent power that carries the late game. A true stretch goal, the Keep's bonuses are balanced to be worth the investment.
A proper tavern. Minigames & Music! Play dice, blackjack, and rune wheels while chopping trees or fighting goblins. Bet your accumulated gold, and see if you can hit the x5,000 jackpot on the rune wheels.
Desktop widget mode. Shrink the whole game into a small always-on-top widget and let your adventurer work the edge of your screen. It will reflect the UI theme you choose, and display notifications for in-game events, so you never miss a thing.

Hello! I'm Nick, the solo indie developer of Journeybound Idle. I've spent an absurd number of hours designing and creating this game, and I couldn't be more excited to finally bring it to you. It's my first game, so I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did making it.
I wanted to write a quick note about a few things. First, the positives: This game has absolutely no data collection or telemetry of any kind. I am tired of games taking and selling our data. I refuse to take part in such practices, so you'll notice my game has no need for a Privacy Policy. The same goes for having absolutely no pay-to-win microtransactions, forced time gating, or similar practices. You can just play the game, as it should be. My game has one optional Supporter Pack DLC, which only includes a UI theme and an alterative soundtrack. Many months ago, I considered launching in Early Access, but decided instead to spend many sleepless nights and bring you the entire, complete game from day one.
I also want to be upfront about the negatives. As a solo developer, I unfortunately cannot afford to hire artists or creators, so the media in my game is a mix of AI-generated and hand-edited/crafted. I would love to have my assets professionally made, but the cost of somewhere around two thousand icons, portraits, and other media assets would be far more than I can afford as just some guy working alone. I've done my best to create the best art and sounds with the tools I have access to, trying extremely hard to make things you will enjoy. If this game were to ever be successful enough, I'd love to hire professional artists one day to remake my assets (and for my future games). I thank you for your understanding, and I hope the game is good enough to get me there eventually!

Really fun, has deep progression systems through quests and milestones with your Guild as well as the professions. The bottom of the screen has great tips for new players, and if you are unsure of what to do next go to the "Adventure Guild" at the top, the quests also give context of how to complete them which really helps with these layered systems. Look forward to logging in each time so far to progress another skill or find a rare item!
The game is great, if you like the idea of becoming best hero that the guild need, then this adventure is for you.

Well, it is pretty good game. my pc was running for few days afking. I like the genre. BUT you need to be aware: what you see is what you get. no new unlocks for new mechanics or what so ever. pretty dissapoiting. I thought it would be epic by getting to the extra tier of the guild and see new stuff. :-/
The game has tons of content compared to a lot of the recently released idle/incremental games. Hundreds of hours. And expect a lot of interaction with the game. This is NOT your typical idler as in "place 3 commands and afk for 4 hours", you CAN do that, but it is more efficient to play it actively. Yes, it is developed by a single guy with the support of AI for visual content, BUT it is very well made. The graphics have a coherent look in a unique style, so you won't notice any disadvantages from AI. No, this is actually the way AI should be used. And the game's discord is very active with the developer actually present and listening to suggestions/feedback, going as far as implementing stuff within hours of it being posted/discussed. Buy it, definitely worth it.
Love this game, would love to help make art and write for it pro-bono if possible to help it thrive. Drawstr!ng on ArtStation
Maybe I'll change my review but the level 19 lock on all skills and requirement to have 200 skill levels feels so unrewarding, I want to farm trees or fish and have my farm but I have to level tailoring because I am hardlocked. Tried to continue playing 3 times this week but cannot play for more than 10 minutes because of this level cap.
Fun concept, and itches a scratch I didn't think I'd enjoy as much as I do. Simple and clear progression but there's many options and skills to branch into from the start, which keeps things interesting. Very well done for a solo developer
Must have for any idle game fan. Wtih Steam Cloud save.
Good take on the "Melvor" like idlers. Has some interesting surprises in game both gear and discovery wise. Basically if you like Melvor Idle or the likes, you'll enjoy this one too. 8.5 / 10
Day 2 and so much to do. If you like idle games then you will like this. I see this being a side game for awhile.
