I know it may seem like just another Only Up attempt for VR, but it's the best attempt I've come across so far. What makes this game stand out is just the different challenges you'll face. A lot of platformers / climbers in VR tend to feel repetitive, but not this game. It's also very polished. You're not just climbing up over and over. You're constantly facing new challenges. This game is challenging with the normal / hard mode as it is possible to fall to the very beginning of the level. However, there's a much easier mode available where you will get checkpoints on your highest achieved point (I didn't try this mode). There's also online co-op play available with up to 4 players (not tested). Game is running on the Unity Engine. I had a few frame rate drops, but nothing major on my RTX 3080. No major issues or bugs. You have full locomotion and smooth / snap turning available. You also have button crouch and you can adjust player height, so you can play comfortably seated. It's not often I rate a VR Game so highly, but Journey Up really does pull out all the stops! At writing this review, I had only played for an hour but I had already experienced a range of emotions playing. - Excitement at load-up - Sadness at falling off & losing progression - Frustration at a few obstacles (Train tracks watch out!) - Happiness when passing a stage you've been failing on countlessly Yes, there are moments you want to launch your controllers at a wall, but then you thank yourself you have the wrist cords on so you can carry on playing! Overall, 10/10 game for VR, would highly recommend! Ох какая не простая игра! Нервишки нужны крепкие! Особенно прикольно, когда персонаж цокает языком, типа, да блин, опять не так!!! прям с языка срывает! Игра очень забавная, всё вверх и вверх! Отличное настроение гарантированно, однозначно рекомендую! Играю в VR!

A really fun game if you like climbing games and even better if you've been trying to find one in vr like me. sometimes the controls are weird but it is nothing bad i hope the continue to work on the game add more content and make more games in the future.

Awsome game :D I enjoy it a lot. [i] Tip: if you pull yourself up with both hands and the robot has its tire on solid ground, just do a T-pose and it will go up after a while :) )) [/i] Added: Great for multiplayer :D You can play with one person playing with mouse and keyboard and it works even if you play with vr-headset yourself.

Surprisingly well made for vr given that it's not a full vr game. The controls and physics are done really well, and the game was extremely fun to play with a friend. It even has a hard mode with no checkpoints along with a leader-board for speedrunning.

デスクトップでもVRでも出来る鬼畜落下ゲー！ 初心者さんでもチェックポイントが設けてあり気楽に止まっているところに戻せます。 真のドMさんはノーマルモードで行けばチェックポイントがなく地獄を楽しめます、、 1つ1つのギミックも難しいことはなく、慣れてくればサクサク行ける感じ ただこのゲームの1番の見どころはマルチプレイが出来るという点。 値段も安いし是非買ってみてください！
