About

Load up your gun, Toxic Commando, and team up in a 4-player squad to send the Sludge God and its undead horde back to hell!
Gather a 4-player squad or jump in with fellow commandos online for pure co-op chaos. Revive fallen teammates, share ammo, cover each other's backs, and laugh through the madness. When infected swarm from every angle, teamwork isn't optional—it's survival.

Unleash hell with an arsenal of guns, grenades, and devastating powers as thousands of infected pour toward you in relentless waves. Powered by Saber's Swarm Engine (World War Z, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2), the horde never stops—and neither should your trigger finger.

Search for vehicles scattered across semi-open maps and tear through the wasteland. Each ride feels unique: some pack serious firepower or special abilities; others come with handy tools like winches. Find what fits your squad, then floor it through the hordes for that pure rush of power and satisfaction—nothing beats turning zombies into roadkill.

на пару вечеров норм. Но после прохождения сюжета не вижу смысла оставаться.
A good game for what is it. It does give the impression it wants to be like a Live Service, but really its a self contained co-op experience. People who are expecting endless drip of content are probably going to be disappointed. The game as it is probably offers about ~100 hours of play to 100% everything, if I had to extrapolate from my current time. I have 15 hours and I'm only 3/4 done my first character. It's not your next MMO-lite that's going to fill your life for the next 8 years. While there's only 9 maps, they are "good enough" imo. Yes I'd love more, but I don't think it hurts the game massively. Each map is a small open world area that probably takes 4-5 min form end to end to traverse, but this is filled with small activities and POIs. There is some degree of procedural generation in regards to placement of activities and roadblocks etc., but it doesn't really matter. The gunplay is competent and feels good to play. The weapons aren't really showstopping and do feel a bit generic. Skills are also kinda 1 lane/generic. Though you can build them out differently, there are definitive metas to leverage so buildcrafting is mostly superficial. I've been playing the Operative and taking over the driving role, and I quite enjoy the mud mechanics and winching etc. In fact I'd say vehicle play is probably one of my favourite parts of this game. Driving can be challenging and annoying, but also very satisfying to master. Vehicles having special abilities adds an extra layer of fun. This is my first game I've played that uses the Swarm Engine and I'm blown away by how many enemy units can be on screen without impacting performance at all. There are quite literally hundreds of enemies on the screen at any given time, and you really feel how those masses can overwhelm you. On that note, the graphics are quite nice and the game runs very stable even with all this going on. I'd recommend the game, especially with some co-op buddies. It's not the most deep game ever, but its absolutely fun to jam around in.
Fun, good progression. Limited amount of levels, but each level lasts for a decent amount of time.
It's a very enjoyable game if you have friends to play with, because otherwise you have to play alone, and this type of game isn't very fun playing alone. You can play alone, but you understand what I mean. Also, if you're thinking of playing quick matchmaking, the game's servers are practically dead; nobody plays it. So my advice is to buy it only if you have someone to play with, and if it's on sale.
如果你是一个脾气很好,且喜欢忍气吞声的玩家,那么这款游戏非常适合。如果你不能接受很多严重bug和被上帝支配的感觉,那么这款游戏并不适合你。入坑慎重。
Awesome game ! Bought it to play it in coop with the wife, it does the job and even more. I'm surprised it doesn't get more credit or popularity since it's creative, original and a lot of fun. It has a real identity, the core gameplay is great and addictive and every mission has a good replayability because it randomly changes with each session, meaning more to find, more to kill and something else entirely to experience with your friends each session you play. I love it ! /Edit after 9 hours and a first run finished : Toxic Commando is probably the best coop game i've ever played. And i'm a big fan of vermintide, L4D, Darktide, borderlands franchise, Helldivers etc etc. I've just never experienced such a level of coop, you need to communicate and to trust each other, and yet it's not complicated, it's tensed, it's cinematographic, you feel powerful but you know deep down that you were so close to die... the tone is perfect, the atmosphere, the music. It's badass, it's retro, you can feel the John Carpenter's approach and it makes it unique. I finished it once, and i know i'll be coming back to it for a long time. It's just too good and too addictive to go on another game mindlessly. I know I have yet a bunch of hours to play in coop with friends before i'll get tired of it. And last but not least, there are regular updates with new actual content ; new missions that bring the story onward, new ennemies, new weapons and vehicles... We can trust Saber to take care of their game like they are used to with the other games they developped (Space marines 2, World War Z, all are still updated on a regular basis and the fanbase is respected. Saber is known to deliver). Have fun guys, this game is a genuine proposition, and it's worth both your time and your money.
there is no optimization in the game
Очень скучная игра
reborte your servere idiots wit this prajs kokot fakt
I recommend this game, but only if you have a group of friends that can keep it fun and engaging. The game launched kind of half baked, though the latest update helped a bit. This game doesn't bring a whole lot of new elements into the genre, rather it's a mixed bag of elements from various other horde shooters. A lot of people might say its a cross between Left 4 Dead and World War Z. I find that the elements it does borrow, are good ones, though the game is not without its flaws. Playing solo is dull. Levelling up is grindy and monotonous. As of currently, the seasonal tier rewards are also limited time, and I am sick and tired of FOMO in gaming. All of that said, when my friends and I play this, we just goof off and talk about whatever, while oceans of zombies explode around us. It can be a good time.
