A dark, story-heavy puzzle game. Enter the mind of Mayu, as her soul is invaded and dug through by a seemingly evil witch. Can you stop her? What if you were able to get the upper hand, and invade her back? Would you show mercy, or destroy her? Jishogi will test you in more ways than one.

This is an amazing game with one of the best written stories I've seen. Can't recommend playing it enough. Its nice and concentrated in the story it wishes to tell, which it uses for its full effect. This game's story is pinging around my head like a dvd screen saver. The puzzles are also really solid. They provide a decent challenge. Though most of the time you can just brute force your way through them if you don't want to think. Over All, LOVE THIS GAME! No game before has ever gotten me to want to tell other people about it to the point of writing a review. But this game sure has. It is so underappreciated. This game deserves to be a cult classic. I am so happy I found out about this game.
good game. I like the story and the sprites. developer, I hope you make more games. I made a video with all endings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFREsgZhGIs
toxic yuri is peak
I LOVE MY TOXIC YURI but fifield is genuinely a horrible person bruh
Joya oculta
Fun was had
Learned about this game from @ManlyBadassHero, and very glad I did. First of all the music is freaking fantastic. Almost all of the tracks are a bop that set the tense atmosphere really well. Some of the other sound design is... off (Why does the mind squish when I walk? euck) but the music is on point. The puzzles are hard as nails in a good way, though from other comments it seems they might be a bit much for others. If they get too hard or if you're interested in the story there is a built-in cheat (at least in 1.0.5) which can let you experience the rest of the game. Also a near-necessity for ending/achievement hunting. On my first playthrough there were a couple puzzles that I nearly gave up on but the only puzzle I skipped was the secret final boss puzzle boss puzzle where it got too guess-and-checky for my tastes. The story in the game is detailed and nuanced, and doesn't baby it's audience, letting you draw some of your own conclusions from the info it provides. While it has some early-2000s style edgyness to some of the endings, but it always acknowledges the ways they're messed up and makes the moral argument about why you shouldn't go down those paths without shoving it down your throat. That said, would definitely toss a content warning on this game. Has some pretty dark themes, and some of the endings are heartwrenchingly awful. Content warnings:
Bullying, child abuse, sexual assault, physical assault, blackmail, mind control, violation of mental sanctity, and conversion therapy.
Potential Story Spoiler related to the above:
I see a few people having Homophobia on their list of content warnings too, but I didn't see any. Maybe you could argue there was internalized homophobia played off as pragmatism? Between character's they're all pretty supportive. There is one instance of someone having an emotional reaction to finding out about homosexual desires, but it's presented as a reaction to targeted *sexual* desires in general, and not as specifically because of the homosexual nature of them.
Welcome to the
Tsundere
Witch got me acting unwise. club, how
Tsundere
Witch got me acting unwise. are ya? Learned of the game from a ManlyBadassHero video. Amazing world building, I really liked digging into the witches knowledge library learning about the spells of that world. Its pretty hard to get me to actually want to read everything in a game. Puzzles are really cool, the underwater weaving and !!!pensive wind!!! musics carried me through those puzzles but the endgame puzzle music was a bit stinky.
It's peak Yuri Don't worry about the puzzles too much. On first-timer intended settings it feels more like a physics puzzler. What with your pieces moving in a line until they're stopped or bounced off a wall.
Fun puzzle thing. Cool story
