This is my first review ever, I must say its early but with loads of potential to be very good, I have spent hours in another game that is like this (no names) I really enjoy it and its a pity the dev`s on that game have dropped the ball, JS could be the 1 if they take it slow fix bugs so that later they don`t build up the engine sound bug drives me crazy, the controls on keyboard are ok a bit hard with lots of key pressing, on a controller its amazing when you hit the sweet spot, the menu is a bit hard to navigate but when you figure it out it`s easy, car tuning, setup`s and customization is really good for a start, when the game start`s it should force control`s view and setup as, there is a start ignition and clutch for people to know about, there should also be automatic option for some who don`t like gears I don`t mind, the day night cycle is ok but no headlights make it a bit hard seeing at night, the roads could be a bit wider and so could the round about`s, if you play other drift games and are looking for the next challenge then JS is it, I can`t wait to see it get better and would recommend this game. I will update as it develops. UPDATES: Sound is now fixed after the small update, I don`t have to go options and click apply to get engine sounds. I have found 2x light poles sticking up through the bridge in the 1 lane

absolute dog turd of a scam made it worse over time and then killed it off with no content left in the game

[h1] So many promises and so little delivery pretty much sums up this whole game and its update cycle. [/h1] The reason i don't recommend getting this isn't because it has bad graphics, physics model (although very annoying physics quirks) or it's buggy. It's an Early Access game and i understand these things take time and are always subject to change, the problem here has to do with CloudWeight. Here are some examples (Check the News section of the game to verify): [b] Posted 18-19th of June [/b] Talked about an apparent "secret code" but "nobody found where to put the code", talked about an phase system and then mentions this: "June 18th, everything changes. ;)" Take a guess of what happened since then to now. (July 28th) Nothing, absolutely nothing. It's one thing to promise updates and apologise and come up with excuses over why the update is delayed. But it's straight up shady to promise something, not deliver on it and not say a single peep to your consumers/customers/players of the game you made. [b] BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! [/b] Ever wondered why the hell there is gameplay on YouTube from pretty small YouTubers (Between 100-1k Subscribers) with a game that looks pretty damn complete full with customisation and different variety of cars? Apparently, this is just a rumour i have heard, those YouTubers personally know the devs and receive a complete game through an private beta branch that no-one knows how to get into completely free! It's not confirmed but there is definitely complete gameplay of the game that is being held back from us, the people that actually mistakenly bought the game that were fooled by the YouTube videos and pictures in the announcements. [b]Is this game gonna go anywhere? [/b] In my eyes, probably not. There's always a chance that this game will get a ton of updates again but by how long these updates take for tiny things that i could even do with my limited knowledge of C# scripting within a week and how shady all this stuff is i highly doubt it. It's sad to see a game with so much promise just get abandoned and never have the chance to come back again because if i'm being honest, the playerbase for this game have practically abandoned it and have no-more hopes for this game. If you wanna purchase the game just on for the promises that have been told, you can do that. But that's all those promises are gonna be, promises. [h2] UPDATE #1: [/h2] Dev has officially left game to die. [h2] UPDATE #2: [/h2] His making another game with the same unity engine, same features and the same crappy "promise" and "tease" bs to lure kids to buy his games so he can buy new crappy Hondas (And this is coming from a Honda lover) that he shows on his Instagram. His new scam is called "Project Akagi", make sure to avoid next time on you see it on the store. And do you know what's sad about all this? He said he couldn't do it and made all these excuses to not make this game and now look at what this scam artist is doing, its not only pathetic, its a slap on everyones face as to why he didn't just update this game with that stuff, saving his reputation as a developer, saving his game and making the community rethink and forgive what has happened on this stuffed up journey with a sad ending that is Jidousha Shakai and i predict, the end of CloudWeight Studios.

dead game no updates and for some reason the developer erased everything from the game instead of letting people play the older versions

This game is the game we all wanted. It has realism in it but not that much ! The game got a big future. Dev are really serious and work hard to fix every problem of it. Good game and alot of fun ! Dont listen to some of bad reviews saying it freeze or something its now fixed !

Bought this game in late 2017. Played it for 20 minutes and gave up trying to fix it to make it remotely playable. Game was stupidly broken and shouldn't even have been available to purchase, the fact that this developer was charging people money for that ♥♥♥♥ was disgusting. However, the game looked intriguing, so I uninstalled it and decided to check it out later. It's now mid-March 2019... And the game has not improved in any way whatsoever. I just reinstalled it to try it out, excitedly, and I was immensely disappointed by how the game performs. Nothing has changed. The game is unplayable - in fact, I wouldn't even call it a 'game'. It is an underdeveloped series of infuriating screen overlap bugs and poorly designed menus. That's it. I managed to struggle my way through the menus and got into a car. I plugged in my xbox controller and... nothing. The wheels turned left to right, but nothing else was happening. I went into the controller settings and realised I had to start the car - fair enough. I pressed the mapped button... Nothing. I went back into settings, and tried to remap the button - and I couldn't. The game thinks that every single input is already being used and therefore doesn't allow you to change any controls at all. I spent an hour online trying to find a fix for this, and all I found were forums and discussion threads about how this has been an issue for 4 months now and that the game is dead. TL;DR Don't buy this heap. It shouldn't even be on Steam, let alone in exchange for MONEY. It's more broken now than when I bought it a year and a half ago, has LESS content than it did back then, and is broken and unplayable - and that is not an over-exaggeration. The controls literally don't work.
