Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 5 - Collector's Edition

Dive under the sea for some solitaire fun in the next installment in the Jewel Match Atlantis series. With variations on solitaire, bonus levels and beautiful scenes to piece together. [h3][u]Settings & Features [/u][/h3] Settings & features include; audio options, display options, custom cursor, tutorial, hints, a variety of cards set backs and fronts and gem colours. Also the credits are viewable under options (watch them fully to get an achievement). The Collectors Edition (Steam version) includes extra levels, the making of, extra shop (unlocks after finishing the main adventure), extra deck backs, extra wallpapers and extra trophies (achievements). [h3][u]Gameplay & Highlights[/u][/h3] If you’ve played any of the Atlantis series before this is more of the same with 10 new beautiful palaces to piece together. Sadly the achievements for this series are the same so you’ll be familiar with them if you’ve played and achieved them before. Most are easy to obtain by just playing or doing some simple actions like watching the credits though or replaying a level. There are four modes that you can choose from for difficulty. Relaxed, normal, hard or timed. One of my favorite features that is across the series is being able to customize your main menu (or scene) using the Scene Manager. Here you can turn on or off items you collect (in this case fishes) that will swim on your main menu. They start you out with some unlocked and you earn the rest as you play. Also once you finish building a scene that scene is added to your wallpapers that you can choose to set on your main menu for your background. I really enjoyed their game that came out earlier this year called [i]Jewel Match Solitaire Fantasy[/i] which had some new twists and features to it. I hope going forward they take more chances and add some new flavours to other future Atlantis games. [h1]🐠 A LONG-AWAITED RETURN TO ATLANTIS 🐠[/h1]  Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 5 definitely has a bit more challenge than their previous games. I found myself replaying several levels multiple times to earn all 3 Stars, especially on the Extra Bonus Levels! There's no doubt that Suricate Software solitaire games are top-notch, and you always get a ton of content for a reasonable price.  The main game consists of 200 solitaire levels that can be played in Normal, Hard, Relaxed, and Timed Modes. You will uncover various amounts of Jewels on each level that are used to purchase and build those infamous Jewel Match Castles. The one feature that stands out the most in Jewel Match Solitaire games is the beautiful castles you build, one section at a time, with the Jewels uncovered in each level. After completing all levels in a Quest, it unlocks a new and colorful Fish (50 Total). There is a convenient Scene Selector tab that allows you to enable/disable a particular fish if you feel the scene becomes too chaotic. You'll be hard-pressed to find a Solitaire game that has as many features and variants as the Jewel Match Solitaire series. What a DUMPSTER FIRE! The foundation pile keeps freezing (I lost count after 10 times of this happening)and of course on the one level where it's engineered for you to win (because almost all games are now engineered for your playing expereince to supposedly enjoy the game?!) and you have to replay 6 times to get that cycle back. The Wild cards now come in the same rank in 3's so no help there. They've re-engineered the cycling so it's every 7 to 10 cards to get a card you can play for only one card on the board. Quests 3 & 4 on the Collector Edition levels refuse to complete so no fish for me. The large file game play now has all of the same number in 2 so you can't move or even use the spare cards because they're in nuimbers of 3's and 2's so you can't even use those because, of course, the playing cards aren't the card you can use them with. The split panels keep dinging if there are pairs on the side you can't get to until you fulfill the required cards EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING. On level 20 CE there were 78 cards available, not one move until I got down to 26 cards.... I can't even! The pointer for the levels in both the regular and CE levels keeps reverting back to the beginning when completeing the bonus and quest levels. Need I say more. I'm still in the CE level so I'm sure that's going to be the same or possibly worse. Is they meant to draw out the game?! I've stopped several times out of sheer annoyance. When a game causes me to lose my peace of mind then I stop buying them. PS: there's a weird looking Ace in SS level 34 CE and CE Level 51 in the pairs game has a rope instead of a hammer for the chisel so can't be completed. I'm not sure what's going on here but quality control is either sleeping on the job or one of your tech lackeys is deliberately sabotaging the game.

This game had quite a few issues when it launched compared to other games in the JMS series. However the devs took lots of feedback and have addressed the majority of the launch problems. The latest patch as of 1/13/26 brings this entry up to the usual standards of this fine series.

sometimes the game froze and I had to close it down and then open it up again. The worst think , I had played for 59 hours and was nearing the end. I clicked on the game to play and up popped the game house logo and every thing I had done was cancelled

SEVERAL LEVELS KEEP FREEZING.NOT FUNNY

I enjoy solitaire and i find this one number 5 in the series a lot smoother but it still has glitches where it freezes and i need to go back to the map but it could be my mouse i also love the colours i was apprehensive at first blue does tend to hurt my eyes but they have added green it - it is almost a teal there is so much to do the different types of solitaire in the coral lounge and the usual rank and size and challenges - i love the challenges and the one where a sting ray lands on a card a bit like the frog in the fantasy solitaire but not as infuriating ive just finished my first scene it is as usual beautiful - it would not be xmas without a jewel match so thank you - i have hours of fun to look forward to

I like many things about this game. However, it carried over some of the things I didn't like in the earlier releases. i play games to relax, so the best game in this series for me was the Jewel Match Fantasy Solitaire, which came out before this one. It allowed me to easily rack up points so I could buy powerups and play for pure enjoyment. It also had a bit of a story line, which I enjoyed. Even though I am playing in Relaxed Mode, this game makes it difficult to finish some levels, particularly the Match-2 ones, so I just skip over the ones that are just too hard for me. I like that I can choose which level I want to play from the map. Like the previous game, it does allow you to customize which fish you see swimming around (in the Scene Manager). I hit a glitch where one level malfunctioned, but I closed the game and reopened it (which fixed the problem) and I haven't found any bugs in the program since then. The graphics are lovely, as usual. All in all, it's an enjoyable game and I recommend it, but I like the previous one better. This one sort of makes it a little too challenging for my tastes, but I am sitll enjoying it so far.
