About
New York City. July 2063. Four workers have gone missing somewhere in the Brooklyn Understructure, a maze of sewage pipes and abandoned passageways deep below the city streets. Genevieve Marconi, a mercenary with a taste for high-risk jobs, is hired to uncover their whereabouts.
As Genevieve, you'll have to fight your way through a horde of drones. Shoot them with energy blasts or smash them to pieces with your broom. Use volleys of missiles and powerful super moves to turn the tide of battle.
This is a spectacle fighter / shooter hybrid. There's third-person shooting and a fast-paced melee system, plus some extra metered abilities that you can use for big momentum swings in fights. Jenny's got a fairly complex combat toolset, and we hope you'll enjoy learning to master it.
Use Jenny's broom to navigate the treacherous chambers of the Understructure. The game has platforming. It's not too intense, but we wanted to put some in to show off the improvements we've made to our character movement (and also, who doesn't like airdashing over bottomless pits?)
Earn a high score by smashing drones with grace and swiftness. You can spend cash earned during your mission on upgrades and new abilities. Honestly, what else do you want to know? We've put a score system in all our games and this one's no exception. Do long combos to raise your score. Spend your score on new abilities (like special melee attacks, super moves, etc) so you can do sicker combos. You'll also be able to replay the game with your unlocks intact after beating it once.
This game isn't expensive. It's a few hours long, and it's got significant replayability via its difficulty options, scoring system, etc. This is a short game. Please buy this if you like short games.

game fun and feels good, makes me wish it was longer but what it has is yummy
Good game, the world is interesting, the gameplay is ok, the platforming is bad. To be fair, I can see the type of people this is for, if you can picture megaman X but 3d and a bit more loose on the platforming this is it. As a quick one while developing steel carmelian this is a great game.
unique gameplay loop. the platforming got a bit annoying sometimes, but its a small part of the game. loved the way the story was presented. overall a short but fun experience.

Stellar game with addicting combat, air juggling, launchers, Hyper abilities that reward you for playing well. Can't recommend enough if you are a fan of Hack n slash.
Jenny the witch is a cool game that is marred by so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying sections and enemy designs that makes it hard to recommend. I love the style, the presentation and HUD, the music, the experience of this out of this world robot mech witch in a big, endless construction site/sewer system that goes on forever. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the platforming gets pretty tedious with challenges that are way harder than necessary if you're playing on controller, annoying enemy gimmicks and a terrible final boss. After the halfway point of the game, I found myself more agitated then pleased, and beating the game felt like a weight lifted despite the game being a little over 2 hours long. The combat is just too stiff to make any kind of headway into having a lot of fun with the system, and the nature of the enemies encourages staying away and shooting instead of using any of your actually interesting tools, because you either don't get much use of them (missiles) or they just suck (most of your hyper attacks). I like the game overall, I'm glad I played it, but it's a very, very hesitant recommendation, and only if you can get past the overwhelming stiffness to appreciate the setting and the designs and sense of style. I wouldn't recommend playing on hard, or even normal if you worry about frustration.
Cool little game. Not quite a bullet witch-like, more of a modern character action/3rd person shooter hybrid. There's also some platforming that requires a bit of precision. It's not super deep, but there are some pretty neat combat options, and a decent enemy variety. The game's aesthetics are really strong. Honestly I really want to see the next game in the series, I feel like there's tons of potential here that could really feel fantastic if given another iteration
Really enjoyed the game art style it was fun. I found the combat a little frustrating it probably needs a little work,
I had an overall fun time with this game, definitely radiates PS2 beat 'em up energy (complimentary), although with some fiddly platforming at times. Doesn't overstay its welcome, and it offers some difficulty options for those that really vibe with the movement and abilities. It's Jenny! Da Witch!
The game gives me the vibe of the first Armored Core. The gameplay is kinda weird, but I really enjoyed manoeuvring through enemy attacks while trying to find an opening to shoot and close the gap for melee attacks and skills. I think the recovery frames/time after attacks could be a bit shorter though. The art style of the textures feels right in place: there's a huge, brutalist facility, concrete environments, and massive underground chambers - I really love this level design. Parkour felt intuitive, except for the moment when I had to dash 180° - felt like there shouldn't be a gap between the platform and the wall, so I wouldn't fall there. Overall: great, fun and beautiful game!
I like the concept of Jenny as a playable character! The mix of the witch design motif with the robot mech suit is a cool idea. Maybe I just have a thing for witches and characters with pointy hats. Some of her attacks come out of talisman insignias, she makes heavy use of her broom, and she gets a kit of "magical" powers. Hex configuration and soul skewer are neat and the line delivery from Jenny's VA on those moves is cool. Jenny's combat feels deliberate. I was hoping to eventually air juggle enemies with stylish combo strings as Jenny unlocked more moves, but her kit stays pretty simple. She unlocks a good pool of "hyper attacks" that use meter, but meter is primarily gained with Jenny's basic three hit string that feels weak. She gets overwhelmed by a crowd without meter and with just her basic attack. Maybe she could've used a light and a heavy attack? Overall, the combat is just okay. You won't crush through enemies Bayonetta style, but landing some hard-hitting hyper attacks off a launcher is satisfying. Difficulty was a breeze and I only started to die at the penultimate combat encounter (you get swarmed by a variety of the toughest enemies and some trash mobs before the final boss). But this was on normal difficulty.
