Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an homage to Japan, Japanese street racing culture and drift. It’s an open world, story-driven experience, blending Tōge (mountainous) serpentines, with narrow rural roads and vast highways leading to a modern cityscape. With licensed cars and robust tuning options it’s a drifting paradise come true!

Driving Models
Designed primarily for gamepads, JDM boasts two driving models to choose from: Arcade, suited for a more relaxed experience and drift beginners; and Simcade in which all assists are off, trading full control over the car for more skill requirements to manage drifting. Players can switch between both models at any time during the game.
Open World
Soak in the atmosphere of Japan with the fictional prefecture of Guntama, created through mixing real-life locations from all over the country. With over 250 km of visually stunning main roads, standalone racing tracks and instanced events, set across winding mountain passes, rural areas and the city's bustling streets, you’ll explore diverse landscapes featuring traffic, dynamic weather, and day-night cycle systems.
Licensed Cars
Sit behind the wheel of legendary Nissan, Honda, Subaru and Mazda cars. Tune them mechanically with new parts and then fine tune the details. Experiment with visual parts: from hoods, through lights to full body kit swaps. Adjust the suspension, wheel camber, gear ratios and more. Finally, paint the car however you like using a free pick color palette. You want underglow? It’s at your disposal as well.
Story-driven Campaign
Step into the shoes of a foreigner determined to make his mark on the Japanese drifting scene. Compete in 40+ narrative-driven events and additional sidequests against the top drifters in the area. Experience this journey through hand-drawn manga pages, which add a unique and artistic touch to the game.
The Audio Purr
Experience authentic car sounds, captured through original recordings and brought to life with attention to detail, making you feel like you're truly behind the wheel. Cruise along picturesque roads while tuning in to genre-themed radio stations, including unique soundscapes of J-music, Phonk and even Eurobeat - choose the perfect soundtrack for your drive!
Multiplayer
Explore the prefecture of Guntama with up to 8 players in a lobby. Cruise together, organize car meets, or compete in multiplayer drift battles, grip races, and 1v1 touge challenges across the open world.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nice Try Tristan...
Jó a játék. Autós vagy szimulátor fanoknak tetszeni fog. De vannak apro hiányosságok. 1-2 verseny túl nehéz, jó pár év autós játékkal a hátam mögött azért feladta a leckét. Aki kihívást keres az megtalálja benne. Keveslem az autókat. A tuningon is lehetne mit bővítnei. Ennyi volt a rossz. A nyílt bejárható pálya nagyon szép, már a barangolással jó pár órát el lehet kallódni benne. Van forgalom, amit én azért díjazzok, mert így nem kihalt a játék.
Crazy fun and challenging
amazing game just need to work on the story better but the gameplay is solid
It forces Steam Deck profile on you even if you are not running on a steam deck. Makes it impossible to change graphical settings as they require a restart to apply and it forces steam deck profile on every restart. I'm not trying to run the game on steamdeck by the way, just linux.
tl;dr the game is great, i'd recommend it for its price. Handling is perfect, graphics ok, the map is great. Starting with cons - optimization (it runs well, this part is more about bug). I have such a weird issue. After 30 minutes playing in all locations (because of missions located in different parts of map) I have massive fps drop (to 5 fps) for like 90% playtime. The rest 10% is 60+ fps like before this drop. It doesn't decrease along playing, it just drops and doesn't increase to stable. My guess is that they have inefficient way to store visited locations during the session, because it fixes after relaunch. And I played for 2-3 hours without city center and it ran well, so maybe city is the thing - small traffic. I understand why traffic is small, otherwise it'd be hard to collect drift points, but they could just give us slider for controlling it. The city without cars looks empty and dead - coloring, there is no way to color rims - bots. Sometimes ai behavior is terrible pros: - physics. I really like it. For me its almost perfect vision of arcade car physics. Smooth drift and interesting grip races. Grip is not like in late NFS, it doesnt require drift at all. You have an opportunity to drive it without sliding. Drift is not hard and easily controllable - cars. its ok. Every car has its preferences, that effect on handling, which is great - sound. Good music and car sounds. unlike TXR cars here have different engine sounds (its not perfect, but still good enough)
Right now I'm on a "anything but Forza 6 trip" after its release and it looking quite mid. As others have said this game is a true "hidden gem" Honestly I'm stunned at how well the driving/handling and drifting feel on controller. It's a real kick back and enjoy type game. Very low stakes. Very stress free. I love that this game has a "clutch kick" mechanic; it's one of the few driving games that has accurately replicated the feeling of kicking the clutch to put the car into a slide and it feels great. The game looks amazing simply put. The foliage the amount of detail they have crammed into every section of the map. The first time you see rain and wind in this game is a treat; the entire foliage moves as if it were alive; flags, lanterns and koinobori slap in the wind. You will see so many unique assets even if it's just a pedestrian staircase or a home with pot plants decorated along its roof; there is just so much DETAIL in every small point of interest; I was driving though a town at one stage and hit the gas and it made an unseen dog start barking; it was felt just so genuine and real. It really puts other big open world games to shame. The theming of this game is excellent. The roads and touge are amazing; finally proper skinny mountain pass Japanese style roads with hard gutters; sheer rock faces and rock fall barriers; the mountain passes are some of the best roads in this game. There are also small detailed towns with petrol stations; homes; sushi bars and restaurants. And a large city with it’s own copy of Daikoku PA; going down a small street you will find a pachinko palor and other unique POI’s. There are some small downsides like any game; the FOV and cameras change per car; for example the little 86 has a roof cam where you can see the entire bonnet; it’s a great camera angle and has a dynamic moving camera as the car slides; however this same camera angle on other ‘wider’ cars you lose a-lot of this detail and can’t see the edges of each bonnet. The traffic is also very light; it’s most obvious in the big city as it often looks quite empty. I found on vortex mods there are mods to increase traffic density but I haven’t loaded them yet; I wonder if this will ruin the mountain passes? Honestly when you get on a good mountain pass road your kind of glad there is no pedestrian traffic and you can truly send it down the mountain like it’s an episode of top gear. The story missions are good – but a little janky; AI cars will crash or get stuck or even float in the air at one point; but I consider this a minor gripe as I went though many missions without such issues. A personal peeve is that some of the story missions make you drive a bone stock Nissan 350z; the 350z in stock form is a bit of a fat pig and it dies in 3rd gear; you really have to thrash the hell out of it redlining it in 2nd for 90% of the race to keep up and not lose power. And in this car it’s more important to never lose you drift score in order to cheese some missions; but it’s fine I’m past it now anyway. There is another set of missions where you drive a little old 1980's 3rd gen Civic; it's acually very fun if your usally in a FR car; these missions seem to be a nod to inital D but in a FF; flying around corners doing handbrake front-wheel skids to beat out more powerfull cars feels great; get beaten by a little civic haha! Car upgrades both visual and performance are tied to car level; meaning that if you want to upgrade a car you have to drive it; it’s a good system it means that you become attached to your car getting it from stock; to a minor body kit; minor mods; then widebodys and bigger performance parts after you have put the hours into it. Some of the upgrades you can tell the people who made this game love cars; it’s the first time I have seen “welded diff” and “angle kits” as an upgrade in a video game. You can customize your car quite well but there are some limitations I have found but you will be able to make something that looks ‘close enough’ to what you want to achieve. Highly recommend this game grab it while it’s cheap!!
