Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch

Art direction and in universe references are on point and snoochins’ to the noochins .Combat is kind of janky but this is easier to patch than art direction so hoping it gets a little love after release.

Eu tenho esse jogo adicionado a lista de desejos há anos, vi um trailer e achei a arte bacana e fiquei na expectativa quando soube que seria lançado, comprei ele no dia do lançamento e kra, que decepção de jogo, nada funciona direito, poucos golpes, não é um jogo fluído, os inimigos estão desbalanceados, inimigos com vida muito alta, uma eternidade para derrotar eles, não tem seletor de dificuldade e só tem uma vida, perdeu volta do início da fase, os especiais não servem para praticamente nada, não tira quase dano, a arte do jogo é incrível, mas infelizmente o jogo é travado, além de ser extremamente pesado mesmo sendo um jogo 2D, 18GB e toda hora dando lag, eu não zerei, joguei pouco mais de 1 hora, mas não sei se vou continuar jogando, vi no Youtube e é um jogo curto, não valeu a pena comprar, infelizmente é um jogo decepcionante, não tem online, só coop local, e pior, os personagens não tem nem fala, só texto, quem dirá legendas em ptbr, nada. Se tá afim de jogar um Beat 'em up decente, busca no Google Final Fight LNS, entre no site oficial e baixe, é 100% grátis, tem mais de 120 personagens, coop local para até 4 jogadores, vários níveis de dificuldade, muitas horas de diversão, muitas fases, caminhos diferentes, finais diferentes, novos modos desbloqueáveis, cada personagem tem dois especiais, diversos golpes, combos, parry, personagens secretos, só para ter uma idéia, para desbloquear 100% dos personagens, precisa fechar o jogo 13 vezes! Jogo extremamente fluído, dá para dar combo de 200, 300 hits, detalhe, não precisa nem instalar o jogo, é baixar, descompactar e jogar, tem inclusive para Android, Windows, Raspberry, etc, o jogo é simplesmente insano, humilha 99,9% de todos os Beat 'em Ups já criados e é grátis, roda em qualquer pc, até em uma batata, só baixa e se divirta, economize seu dinheiro com esse jogo, que te garanto, não compensa comprar.

So much nostalgia! Esp with Jay's voice popping in here and there as you fight. Love me some couch co-op and hand drawn games just hit different. Saw others had issues but worked great for me on my oldish gaming laptop.

2D brawler that crashes the Steam Deck. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to this one. Refund time.

i dig everything jay and silent bob and this could be a damn good game but it is a little clunky. like if im beating someone up, i cant turn around mid combo to beat up someone else

Para los años que llevaba en desarrollo y cómo ha salido es de pena, problemas en el rendimiento, bugs por doquier, falla cuando golpeas porque no pilla bien cuando estás pegando a un enemigo. La verdad es que no sé ni como lo terminé, todos esos problemas complica y dificulta que puedas avanzar en el juego. Lo recomiendo quizás cuando saquen varios parches ya que les queda mucho por mejorar, pero tampoco es una locura debido a su corta duración.

I had purchased the game upon release, however I never got around to playing the game until after the first major patch. Apparently upon the release the game was pretty bad with tons of major issues; and resulting bad reviews. With the patch it appears most of the major issues mentioned in the comments are gone as I have not ran into them myself; outside silly bugs once in a while such as the game getting stuck at the beginning or ending of a level forcing a quit/restart of the level. Apparently there are still major issues with the steam deck, but I cannot comment upon that. Devs really should consider delaying releases of their games if they're not quite ready yet. As for the gameplay itself, it's still not perfect but I found it enjoyable enough to give it a thumbs up. While I would not put it into S tier with the likes of TMNT and SOR4, I can say it's equal in quality to games such as Power Rangers and Gi Joe; which both needed a major patch as well to be enjoyable. There are also a couple head scratching decisions made in the game such as your character leveling and gaining new skills, but you only see that when you character levels up in the bottom right of the screen. It's not game breaking, but still feels like an oversight. Maybe a future patch will add it to their menu screen.

Demasiado goateado

As a fan of Jay and Silent Bob and someone that waited years for this to release, this is an untested mess. This game is an embarrassment and is clearly an unfinished cashgrab that was given up on. Trying to start the game, each logo, the title screen, and loading the tutorial took an unusual amount of time. I wasn't sure if the game had crashed or what because it was completely unresponsive to any button inputs and there was no way to escape. Once things finally loaded in, the game soft locked just one minute in on the first level/scene of the game. There were multiple "ghost" images of the main character walking around and once all the onscreen enemies were killed, the game didn't proceed. I thought, okay, weird first time load up glitch and restarted the game. Same first area, same thing happened except it was covered in even more ghost images of Jay and the enemies couldn't be killed and some were stuck in the wall. ♥♥♥♥ this trash. Jay and Silent Bob, Kevin Smith, and the View Askewniverse deserve better than this! I'm not sure what magic combination of rig/drivers had other people get passed level one, but I hope the game was at least enjoyable for them. Buyer beware! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuXwRljpYLg
