Its like a slice of anime, with two main female leads to choose from. Play as Brian, a foreign transfer student who will be staying in Japan for a period of 1 year. You'll learn about the different cultures of Japan, get to go on dates, beach, comiket, you name it. Quite fun and informative, the characters are not too overbearing and balances each out well. Give it a try

I liked this game as the 2 schoolgirl characters were interesting & I was able to learn some things about Japanese culture that I didn't know about before! Also catchy background music & some funny & interesting dialogue. It would have been neat if the game allowed the player to change their character name in-game.

Chiyoko

[Bought via Humble Bundle.] While I'm fairly new to the visual novel genre, this game has really made a marked impression on me. Undoubtedly it is the best VN I've played so far in my visual novel pilgrimage. The ending almost had me tears. I will miss Chiyoko and Arisa. I'm still going to 100% the achievements, but then that'll be my time with the game finished unless I decide to replay it down the road. Fantastic story, great for learning Japanese culture, and the two main characters are extremely likeable and feel like real people - I felt like I was good friends with them. Perhaps it's because I'm new to the VN genre, but I definitely recommend this for anybody interested in Japanese-centric, coming-of-age stories and VNs.
