Prices

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 17 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

glitchy to high hell and the map repeats constantly resulting in just not a fun experience

Okay, the 'oof' and the 'Please turn on your windshield wipers' SHOULDN'T be the reason why this game gets negative reviews... (Like seriously, you HAVE the option to take Uncle with you. Are you guys like slow on that??? and if you really want the lore then just drive like a normal person... its not hard) the driving in the 'most used' version (more on that in a sec) is TERRIBLE. Its akin to like roblox driving back in 2018. INSTANT reaction, its like driving an extremely simple car. That and NO MATTER WHAT NPCs will RIDE your ass, like I guess there was ZERO manners in the fking soviet bloc or whatever. FORGET driving up hills, even with max upgrades your car will BARELY be stalling out (its still bad in 1.0). THE REAL ISSUE is that in order to play the ACTUAL good game, you have to change the version to the 1.0 release. FUN driving, some of the cool UI features are gone but its playable. About 6 hrs of unique content for me but I usually play slow. The real reason why I'm giving this game a negative review is because on 1.0 despite the fun driving, I can't get the last letter (lore stuffs). Tried changing versions but then that would require me to take a trip forward and back to actually test... and thats when I figured out how bad the driving was in the modern version. Welp guess I'm not getting that bit of lore and steam achievement If you really want a road tripping game you can play this game. For the insane discount and just playing 1.0 its worth but I heard there's another roadtrip game in development either by same dev or heavily inspired by this game so just look at that and wait for that game if you want something that's actually '2026' type deal PS THIS IS A SPOILER KINDA: If you're wondering how I got max upgrades with only like 7 hours, you can do 2 things: First you can sleep in a motel then knock on doors for the chance to give you cash. Then you can just 'save & quit' go back in the game and knock on the doors again... its infinite. Second you can essentially get free gas and tire changes by just using said items right away without paying, 'save & quit', go back in the game and you'll keep the gas and wheels IN/ON the car without paying (saying in/on because if you store in trunk, the game WILL wipe your trunk). You can get mad at me for cheesing the game like that but like... I did it after reaching the last destination and I'm not grinding 50 hours praying to rngesus to see what max upgrades are like (its fun when not going up hills lmao)
The game is okay overall, but the bugs make it kinda unplayable. I would recommend this game otherwise.
So far it seems life a way buggier version of My Summer car, or especially Pacific Drive. I liked it at first, but I kept getting bug after bug, and after less than 2 hours I'll have to be done with it for now.
Conheci a partir do cazum, tô devendo zerar ainda, mas achei maneiro demais.
parece juego a medio terminar con pero por alguna razon se disfruta el viaje y poder ir reparando poco a poco el carro
Jalopy is an amazing game to say the least, although the game is ridden with bugs, especially on the Xbox One edition of the game. The graphical quality and lighting can be improved, the game hasn't received an update in several years, and the ending is quite abrupt, with Uncle Lutfi just disappearing from the game, a better ending would be appreciated. Overall, Jalopy is a fun and enjoyable game, with tons of replay value.
