3 different enemy classes: Infantry, Armored and Robotic. Beat the toughest levels with the right combinations and bonus damage. Every character in the game thinks differently and your relationship with them changes with every choice you make. Make jokes about them. Spread the gossip.

I do not reccommend this game, This game was as bad as italy in ww2 1/10
buggy, incomplete, lame tower defense game. Got it in the Ukraine bundle and I feel like I've supported Russia instead.
😕 Izmir: An Independence Simulator – A Confusing Mix of Warfare and... Gossip? 🤨 So, Izmir: An Independence Simulator wants to be a strategy game about defeating enemies and making smart choices, but somehow it feels more like a bizarre mix of a soap opera and a low-budget shooter. 🎭🤔 The game promises strategic depth with different enemy classes (Infantry, Armored, and Robotic), but instead, you're left wondering why you're spending more time spreading gossip and making jokes about your squadmates than actually fighting enemies. 🗣️🫣 The whole "relationship system" feels out of place in a game that’s supposed to be about independence and warfare. I mean, who cares about cracking jokes when there are killer robots on the loose? 🤖💀 It seems like the developers tried to throw in some character development but forgot that we’re here to defeat armies, not dive into awkward small talk. The combat itself? Meh. The "right combinations" and "bonus damage" sound exciting in theory, but in practice, it’s just a repetitive grind against enemy waves that feel more like cannon fodder than actual threats. 😴🔥 The levels are either too easy or frustratingly difficult, with little middle ground, making for an uneven and unsatisfying experience. If you’re looking for a gripping strategy game about independence, this isn’t it. Instead, you’ll find yourself stuck in a confusing mess of half-baked gameplay and awkward character interactions. Save your time—and your jokes—for something else. 👎 Created with <3
Dengesiz bir yapıya sahip. Amacımız oyunda dalga dalga gelen düşmanları öldürmek . Bir küçük hikaye oluşturulmaya çalışmış ama olmamış. Saçma olmuş. Sarmadı.
I do not recommend
Good but not great? Fairly basic indie tower defense with a bit of people management that gives bonuses like cheaper type of towers that could be an interesting twist later but not a lot there yet. Hopefully won't be an abandoned game in the future as a bit of polish could make this much better than where it is now.
Feels like the product of a game jam where they gave you two random asset packs and 24 hours. Unfortunately, I don't believe that's the case here. "Story" is poorly written dialogue with personality-less NPCs that have no reason for being in the game, crammed full of memes and pop culture references that do not succeed in being either fun or funny. Gameplay is a poorly balanced tower-defense game that effectively devolves into waiting for the approaching enemies to finally run into your wall of lasers so you can get on with the game. This isn't an early access game, it's a pre-alpha proof of concept that died before ever leaving that stage. Save your two bucks.
Game isn't finished.
