"ISO" is either a student project or a video game company showcase, I'm not sure which, either way they've done a rather poor job of telling us who they are, which would defeat the purpose in either case. Anyway this is a first person game, a short demo where you run around and take photos of stuff and get scored on the photos. It's reasonable enough for free. The decent graphics, workable gameplay and attractive price make this one worth considering. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. Here, you get a reasonably even match, enough to give this a pass. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Yes, believe it or not. While this is far from a perfect game, the deficiencies and drawbacks can be overlooked due to the zero up front price and the value you get out of it. It's greater than the sum of its parts, and worth downloading if you're a fan of this kind of gaming experience.
Played this game at different levels of development, very cool project and idea! The final product might be a bit rough around the edges because of the lack of publisher but the team did a great job and it's very pleasant to explore and take pictures of the fauna! Give it a support!
I got bored quick. I get it it's a photography sim, there's no story, no plot, nothing that would get you excited too, unless you've never seen world around you. You just walk around as a robot and take pictures of animals. I think this might be a student project, if so - fine job. If this was supposed to be serious I don't see how this can get anyone's attention unless it's a free-to-play game. The graphics are a off, I guess it's the motion blur, there's too much of it, it's quite annoying and irritating to the eye to look at
Before I played ISO, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
