I like this game so far! Its a hidden gem. I really wish there were more levels! Honestly, its so pretty and dreamy and its relaxing and fun to play. I hope the next game that comes...will come soon. Like, I wish it would come today! I love how i feel like the puzzles aren't extremely hard but their not like super easy. I feel like a little explorer.
Не наврали, игра реально проходится ровно за 45 минут
everything in this feels like something out of my dreams. its so minimal, so silent and relaxing and eerie at the same time. this is more of a vibe type of stuff and not game play type as it was abstract as it is. but still a worth of time. tho due to it being short i suggest buying it on sale only
A simple, but charming meditative puzzle game. Islands offers players a rich audiovisual experience to leisurely click through at their own pace. All of the puzzles are straightforward, and they mostly involve clicking on pulsing lights within surreal scenes in order to trigger the next events. The draw here is the way that each tableau pulls the player in, transforming regular scenes into places within imaginative worlds, promoting both curiosity, as well as self-reflection. Those looking to get the most out of their money might want to look elsewhere when the game is not on sale: the price might be a bit too much for those on a tight budget, with its 60-ish minute runtime and limited replayability. However, even with that being said, I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a slow, relaxing experience; one that can be optionally shared with others, including young ones.
i love this kind of stuff. highly enjoyable
Just barely a thumps up. The visuals and atmosphere are certainly what you want to experience this for, especially if you are into Vaporwave. However, it is not intellectually pleasing and feels more like something you would show a toddler to keep them busy.
Good game to play while high.
It's more of a series of virtual art installations than an actual game, which I'd normally be all up for, but this one is simply boring und didn't bring anything of aesthetic or artistic value to the table. The style is dull and unintersting, the portrayed objects and events seem way too random to carry any form of meaning and everything happens irritatingly slowly. It's a very short experience and it still felt like it was purposefully wasting my time.
Beautiful interactive art piece
If you're into liminal type experiences, this is a great one for you. Very simple and minimal puzzles with beautiful level design
