Got this game as a gift and still regret playing it because it's a waste of time. The game is insanely boring, all the levels look like randomly generated, having many different solutions and not exploring the introduced mechanics. There is ZERO gameplay progression, the entire game is the first level on repeat, level after level. I don't understand HOW this game has overwhelmingly positive reviews, this is gotta be a scam of the rating system.

1000/10. I was simply expecting a normal purely satisfying game, nothing more, and i was incredibly pleasantly surprised by the cutest story ever. Almost every part of every scenary is interactive w hidden stuff....just loved it so so so deeply. (and it IS veeeeeery satisfying...the visuals..the sounds...the effects..everything :D) Just loved it deeply w my whole heart! <3

This was such a fun and refreshing game to play. I appreciated the play style, humor, and storyline of Is This Seat Taken? What works: +A cohesive logic base for the game that was fun to learn, and simple. There are visual cues (sweat drops for hot people, music notes for people who paly loud music, stink clouds, etc.) +This game reminded me of those math problems where you put the kids in order by age, but you only get a snippet of information about each one. The logic is flawless and I liked how the puzzles could be solved in slightly different ways on replays. +Each map set is from a city that follows the story of a budding actress, a rhombus, who doesn't usually see shapes like her in movies. The story is sensible and complete and leaves it open for a Is This Seat Taken 2 and ermahgerd, yes, please! +Satisfying, for sure! I celebrated every perfect group like a major award. Thanks for all those gold stars, I really liked them! + I love the gibberish when they talk + The music is peaceful and toe tappy + +Rep for the Minami Lane plug + You can "finish" a puzzle and not have full stars, so if you're stuck you can move on if you want to + Family friendly + A kid can play Is This Seat Taken? and they should, because it's awesome What could be improved: - The only thing I wished was a little different was : after you beat an entire section of a city you have to start it over to play the maps within the section, you can't just choose any puzzle at random (for example, movie theater, group 2). I think this is a small complaint, as it doesn't take long to complete the puzzles by chapter, and I enjoyed playing. Nonetheless, I think being able to pick any group to organize after unlocking the level could potentially be fun for replayability. Overall, I found Is This Seat Taken? to be fresh, aesthetically pleasing, and enjoyable. I thought there was a lot of game- many cities, each with many levels, and getting a perfect on a city overall unlocks a special level. I finished the game and realized I still had some parts of it I hadn't explored. That was a delight. I inhaled this game, and it filled me with joy. Please, give it a try. I really love this game, wanted to give it a good review because it deserves all the attention. If you are looking at this and saying "oh, that looks interesting" go for it, I am sure you will love it, I am looking for more games like this. Some of the levels were really challenging because I would just try to move a couple characters around to fix it, but I found in those you really need to start fresh and change your set-up. I was just sad that this ended. I hope there's DLC or a sequel.
