"youve unlocked endless mode!!!!!!" oh cool lemme play endless mode "you need to fight and kill the archons to access it, not to mention having a perfect build because for some reason these enemies deal 150k damage" peak game though
I love this game and cant stop playing iT! It is so gratifying and addicting. I wish they could fix the "no kids mode", but that isnt a huge deal considering most games dont even offer that feature. The other thing that is an issue that every player has to deal with all the time is if the group host leaves it should not disband the entire group. It could just switch the leadership to next in line. Everyone is so sick of getting 1/2 way through a run just to be kicked back to the haven because a little kid just rage quitted or his headset died. This happens constantly and consistently.

I'm someone who has been using the Valve index since it came out, so i am biased and just see this game as quest slop in comparison to other really great games out there. It can be enjoyable with friends but I dont think its a fun game. Combat is rough. The weapon balance feels off depending on what you're using so the game is either fine or its abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i think a handful of enemies attack just a little too fast for the average player to properly deal with them, also enemies ganging up on you can be frequent and its very unfun and just not something you can counteract sometimes. Two handing weapons feels HORRIBLE, it is so hard to actually move the weapons how you want them to because i think the weight is off and the game does not have hand prioritization, both hands have the same amount of control over how the weapon moves instead of something like having your right hand do most the work & aim of the weapon and the left be more just support and extra power (like Blade & Sorcery for example). There are a few enemies and bosses that are horrible and not fun to fight at all, occasionally will also just kill you in around 2 hits which is awful when they can attack fast. I think the maps are very boring and too large, there is way too much walking and doing nothing while staring at nothing. The roguelike elements feel pretty shallow and bad. Hard not to complain and compare when theres so many fantastic roguelikes out there. Most importantly: There is no finger tracking. I cannot flip my friends off. This is very sad. oh and the game being 30 dollars Canadian when its free for my friends that use quest is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.
A very fun co-op hack n slash in a similar vein to Until You Fall. It may look basic, but there's enough content here to keep you and your friends occupied for quite a bit with a variety of weapon progressions and play styles to try. That said there are a few nagging issues. If you are left handed and change the settings as such you're going to find that two handed weapons are difficult to use, since enemies are right handed and you cannot reverse your grips it becomes very hard to block attacks or strike weak points on their left side. Also some of the weapons are perhaps a bit too slow to be really usable especially if you are the only melee player in your team. All in all though, its pretty great.
the game has really good combat and systems, but alot of flaws, to unlock the full experience you need to beat the full run but it is near impossible since enemys do alot of damage and the boss has way to much health, most enemys just swing wildy which makes it very hard to block and the blocking is so incosistent and if you get attacked by more then one person you cant defend yourself since they just swing wildly even if you do a heavy block they just keep swinging, plus getting cosmetics takes far to long
I was a huge fan of Ironlights, and this game is pretty fun! It's not SUPER in depth in terms of gameplay, simply pick a weapon style you prefer, and go grind some npcs, get currency, upgrade your stats to make yourself stronger for the next run, so on so on. Especially fun with others.
