Recenzja: "Ironsmith Medieval Simulator" - 2/10

Rozgrywka odnosi wrażenie mocno sztywnej i uciążliwej. Niestety nie jestem w stanie polecić produkcji. if you want an actually good blacksmithing simulator you can find 1 here. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2313270/Blightlands_Blacksmith/
If you are thinking of playing this game because you think it's an actual blacksmithing game, you're wrong. This game is not what the video advertisement makes it out to be. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!!!! What little blacksmithing is in this game is crude and simple. It is a waste. So again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!!!
Ironsmith Medieval Simulator, developed by The EpicLore and published by SIG Publishing, is a medieval crafting and life simulation game built around a compelling premise: step into the soot-covered boots of a blacksmith and forge your way to prosperity in a gritty medieval town. The concept is immediately appealing, especially for players who enjoy hands-on crafting systems and profession-focused simulators. Instead of commanding armies or ruling kingdoms, you take on a grounded, labor-driven role—shaping iron, fulfilling orders, trading goods, and slowly building a reputation as a master of the forge. On paper, it promises an immersive blend of medieval atmosphere, RPG progression, and detailed crafting mechanics. At the heart of the experience lies the blacksmithing system itself. Players gather raw materials, process ore, heat metal, and physically shape weapons, armor, and tools through interactive crafting sequences. The game attempts to simulate the process in a tactile way, requiring attention to timing and steps rather than simply clicking a “craft” button. This hands-on approach is where Ironsmith Medieval Simulator shows the most ambition. There is a clear effort to make crafting feel like a process rather than a menu interaction. Unlocking new blueprints and upgrading your forge adds a sense of progression, and fulfilling increasingly complex orders gives the impression of growing mastery. The surrounding town environment is meant to contextualize your work. Customers arrive with requests, gold must be managed carefully, and materials must be purchased or acquired strategically. In theory, this creates a satisfying economic loop: forge items, earn profit, reinvest into better equipment, unlock more advanced schematics, and expand your workshop. There are light RPG elements woven into this system, including skill progression and the gradual improvement of your smith’s capabilities. The framework suggests a life simulator where your forge stands at the center of a small but evolving medieval ecosystem. However, while the concept is strong, the execution often struggles to match its ambition. Many players have reported that the game feels rough around the edges, with technical issues and mechanical inconsistencies interrupting immersion. Controls can feel clunky, and certain crafting interactions lack the fluidity one would expect from a simulation built around precision work. Bugs and unfinished systems have been a recurring criticism, leading some to feel that the experience resembles an early access build more than a fully polished release. These technical shortcomings make it difficult for the core crafting loop to consistently deliver satisfaction. Visually, Ironsmith Medieval Simulator adopts a stylized and somewhat simplistic medieval aesthetic. The environments are functional but lack the density and detail that would bring the setting fully to life. Character models and animations serve their purpose but do not elevate the atmosphere in a significant way. While the modest presentation is understandable for an indie project, it does limit the game’s ability to fully immerse players in the medieval world it seeks to portray. The ambience, sound effects, and environmental design provide some flavor, but they rarely reach the level of cohesion that transforms a simulator into a deeply believable world. Another point of contention is the depth of the broader simulation systems. While crafting is the focus, the town and economic mechanics can feel repetitive over time. Customer interactions lack substantial narrative development, and the economic cycle, though present, may not offer enough variation to sustain long-term engagement. Players hoping for a richly layered medieval life simulator may find that the surrounding systems do not evolve as dynamically as the premise suggests. The core loop—forge, sell, repeat—can begin to feel mechanical rather than progressively complex. That said, there is an audience for this type of experience. Players who specifically seek a blacksmith-focused simulator and are willing to overlook technical roughness may find enjoyment in the fundamental crafting process. There is a certain satisfaction in heating metal, hammering it into shape, and completing a commission, especially when the mechanics function smoothly. The game’s niche appeal lies in its dedication to portraying a single profession in detail rather than attempting to simulate an entire medieval society at scale. Ultimately, Ironsmith Medieval Simulator is a game defined by strong thematic potential and uneven execution. Its core idea—living the life of a medieval blacksmith—is distinctive and refreshing within the simulation genre. When the crafting systems work as intended, they offer glimpses of a genuinely engaging profession simulator. However, technical issues, limited depth in peripheral systems, and a lack of polish hold it back from fully realizing that promise. For patient players who value concept and atmosphere over refinement, it may offer a modest but interesting experience. For others seeking a highly polished and deeply layered medieval simulation, it may feel like a project that aimed high but fell short of its full potential. Rating: 3/10
where is the dev?
Později vám přibudou do vašeho repertoáru i halapartny a kopí, a nakonec i brnění. Suroviny si totiž musíte kupovat, a i když si ke konci osvojíte možnost těžit rudu a odlévat si ingoty sami, stejně musíte nakupovat formy na odlévání a rukojeti. Ty nevyrobíte a ani ničím jiným nenahradíte. Dohráli jste to do konce!
Good idea but poorly implemented. This is a bunch of minigames, this won't give you new experience. The best part of the game is its teaser.
I bought this game for like $.70 with a bundle...I LOVE simulators, and I really want ed this to be good because there aren't many good ones for blacksmithing. But this is literally unplayable! I tried the tutorial first. But i removed my sword mold from the spot and it wouldn't let me mount it back to finish the tutorial. Frustrated, I moved to the real game figuring I'd just ran into a bug and learned enough to start. But BAM another bug as I cannot chose making nails! That is the first mission in the full game...I guess this was just not cooked enough...to bad...
