IRON NEST is a brutal dieselpunk heavy-artillery game where you dominate the battlefield through a colossal war machine. Take map measurements based on the received coordinates, strain the hydraulics, and gunlay the cannons to unleash devastating blows ⟹ Will you obey High Command, Operator?
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A brutal dieselpunk heavy-artillery simulator where you dominate the battlefield through a colossal war machine. Every lever, every dial, and every shot is under your control. High Command may send its orders, but the chain of command ends at your fingertips. They don't carry consequences. You do, Operator.
MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT.
The teleprinters are calibrated to monitor local radio traffic. One delivers TOP-PRIORITY directives from High Command. The other relays direct calls from the frontline. Remember: every piece of information can determine the success of the entire operation.
Transform intelligence reports into a battle plan, get aerial photos that reveal the outcome of your actions, and watch your barrels reshape the landscape. The map isn't here just for measurements. It's also your window to the battlefield. Make no mistake. You can move the markers, but the scars remain.
Hammer the measurements, crank the numbers, and watch the ballistic calculator grind toward firing solutions. Drive the charges higher to blast shells across the horizon, or dial it back to arc them deliberately into enemy emplacements.
Beware: the machine may fail. You must not.
Breach bunkers with armor-piercing rounds, screen friendly withdrawals with smoke, and ████ █████████ with phosgene gas. It never happened if there are no witnesses. Every shell is forged for a single purpose, and whatever you choose will echo across the battlefield long after the smoke clears.
Haul the elevation wheel and watch the guns climb under your command. Match it with the exact propellant charge, or a surgical strike will turn into an avoidable mess. Precision is everything because neither flawless paperwork nor the finest propaganda will erase your guilt.
Drag the heavy lever and feel the entire structure shudder beneath your feet. A machine like IRON NEST doesn't spin on a whim. It takes time to swing that much iron with grace. Skilled Operators use that time to handle other tasks. After all, the coffee machine on your desk is there for a reason.
Pull the trigger, and let thousands of tons of machinery answer your call. Feel the turret recoil and watch the frontline crumble under the weight of steel. Once the dust settles, only silence remains, hanging heavy in the air, and the moment new orders arrive, it all begins again.

The campaign is set in alternate-history Spain in the late 1920s, on the brink of a civil war. In this timeline, the monarchy still holds power, and a republican uprising is spreading across the country.
IRON NEST is a two-person passion project from Nick Talmers (development) and Dominik Latos (propaganda). With 20+ years of combined experience and a lifelong obsession with artillery, interwar machinery, and dieselpunk, we're building the game we've wanted to play for years.
Nick has dreamed of IRON NEST for over a decade, and after meeting through developer-publisher collaborations, we decided it was time to bring this heavy spider-turret simulator, dripping with steel and power, to life.
The response has exceeded our wildest expectations. Thank you (truly) for every wishlist, message, and bit of support. It means even more because Heavy Turret Simulator is just the first step in the IRON NEST universe.

IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator is a first-person heavy-artillery experience that blends tactical problem-solving, complex war-machine management, and strategic decision-making into a genre of its own. The inspirations behind the game range from 1990s anime and Cannon Fodder to Nick’s passion for engineering and artillery. Also, we would like to acknowledge PVKK, which, in our view, helped shape the genre in which IRON NEST proudly stands.

secretly a horror game, they didnt tell me the enemies could shoot back...
You wake up inside this walking mountain of steel. There’s a teletype machine that sounds like it’s having a seizure every time High Command wants something blown up. There’s a map table. There’s a ballistic calculator that looks like it was designed by a drunk engineer who hated happiness. There’s levers. Dials. Wheels. Hydraulic screams. I spent twenty minutes just measuring distances with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pencil and compass like it’s 1927. Then I cranked the elevation. Loaded a high-explosive shell the size of a small car. Lined up the bearing. Locked everything down. Pulled the firing handle. My whole desk shook and I damned near blew my speakers out. Somewhere out there in Castile, a rebel outpost ceased to exist in a very loud and permanent fashion. I may or may not have laughed like a man who just remembered what pure power feels like. The game doesn’t care if you’re good at shooters. It doesn’t care about your K/D. It cares whether you can read, measure, calculate, and not drop a 7,100 kg shell on the wrong side of the ridge, into an orphanage or something, because you mixed up your mils. Friendly fire is not a suggestion. It’s a lifestyle choice. High Command will still send you the newspaper the next day like “great work, Operator” even if you just rearranged the local geography into modern art and pink mist. Is it slow? Yes. Is it meticulous? Extremely. Is it the most satisfying thing I’ve done with a keyboard in a long damn time? Hell yes. I’ve got a Belgian Malinois that looks at me like I’ve finally lost the plot when I start yelling “SHOT, OUT!” at the monitor. The kids think Dad’s having another one of his moments. But I’ll be damned if this isn’t the purest form of big-gun therapy currently available on Steam. 10/10. Would suppress a fictional rebellion again. Now if you’ll excuse me, new orders just came in on the teletype… and I think somebody just volunteered to become a crater.

This scratches a special part of my brain. I highly recommend this game.
Гра прекрасна, якщо з'явиться КООП, буде взагалі чудово.
Chill
Wake up, struggle to make coffee, customize your cat, perform 1st grade level math calculations, turn your headphones to max to enjoy your epic war horn and HIGHLY satisfying cannon sounds, then miss entirely and blow up a hospital. 10/10, game of the year.

Glory to Castille!
The mechanics in and of itself aren't breathtaking and honestly rather simple. You draw points, lines and circles on a map and turn a couple valves. That's it. Simple. But that's not the whole story: all those little valves are extremely satisfying to turn, all the simple mechanics mesh perfectly, like the perfect gears they are. Additionally the game feels like a lovesong, objectively not the best, but the one you remember your whole life. Turn the turret and landscape changes accordingly through a small, barely noticable window that closes off after arming your barrel, there's a foghorn - why? - because why the hell not, if you "break" the nest, you have steam swirling through your cabin and valves to close and want to pat that old lady - you're sorry for handling that beauty so roughly and then you notice the soundtrack and post mission newspaper articles....i could go on for a couple more lines, but that would be wasting your time.
