Great game, love the stealth game play
Great game! Excellent graphics, runs well. Loved the setting and the tension. Quite similar to Still Wakes the Deep in terms of gameplay, without being a direct rip off. No bugs whatsoever!
Straight up obnoxious

The game follows a good storyline, has a great voice actress, and does a good job of keeping things both tense, but possible. The creature in the game is both scary and fascinating. Well written. Good dialogue. Good gameplay and mechanics. A few of the areas were really challenging. But you get used to how the creature hunts and patrols. Oh and you can't run/sprint. This is clearly on purpose so that the creature can be faster than you when it sees you. You have to learn where the hiding places are and strategically be near enough to them to get by the creature. I'd recommend this game if you don't mind hiding a lot. I feel like ProbablyMonsters has great potential for their next title.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 7/10
Honestly the game felt super repetitive and got boring very soon. Not scary at all. Pretty graphics. Story is kinda cool. But i dont even care to finish the game because the gameplay is just so boring. Glad I got this on sale.
erm guys, the scary monster is right behind me isnt it, what the flip! this is not happening!
It's a pretty fun game with a pretty spooky monster... at first. The game takes places all on one tiny map. Over time you unlock access to more and more rooms but the size of the map doesn't change much. You can walk from one end to the end in about 30 seconds. You're given different objectives over time that require you to access these new rooms or go through previous rooms. That's all a bit vague, but I don't want to spoil anything. Look at it like a multi hour long escape room. Except there's not really any direct puzzles to solve. You're mainly trying to figure out how to go from room to room while a monster is lurking about. And that's kind of where the problem lies. You're in the same map with the same monster for many hours. It doesn't take long to figure out how the monster works and where all the safe spots are. From that point on the monster is really just an annoyance. Another problem is some of the objectives are a bit absurd. Sometimes you're tasked with finding tiny objects that are hidden throughout the map. It just feels like boring busy work. I wish the game would be more straight forward about where these objects are. I don't need to have my hand hold, but I also don't care to look through every nook and cranny just to find a tiny little something. That once again goes from fun enough to annoying very quickly. Anyway, I still recommend the game simply because it's quite fun. The map is pretty, the voice acting is good, the story is just fine. Just know what you're getting into before purchasing. The game doesn't have any great spectactles, impressive views, clever puzzles, or anything like that. It's a walking simulator in many ways but you're really only walking in circles. Not to mention that this is a prologue so the story is about as inconclusive as it gets. If you're not into the setting and not too into spooky games you're not going to like this one. Nor do I believe it's worth the price without sale. Half the price would have been much more fair. The game took me about 4 hours to beat.
