Great for kids. The mission to help wildlife is admirable
The owner of this game talked at my school about creating games that focus on a slow pace positive experience instead of entertainment designed to bombard you with dopamine dumps. I missed out on a free copy but my sister just got a VR headset and I'm glad we gave it a try! This is like my 3rd VR game ever but I liked looking around and exploring, really really beautiful. And Rob Irwin from Crikey is on a big screen at the end. So sweet that you donate to animals. One of my only comments is, why can you touch and move some plants and not others? I was able to slide to a few places I don't think I was supposed to go.
Rhythm of the Universe IONIA is a fantasy adventure puzzle-solving game. You are Allegro, a mute. You set out with Allegra your sister on a journey to save the Harpa – a mysterious creature that is the heart of the Ionian forest. The world is full of mystery, strange creatures, and music. You can tell this developer has a musical and visual background. These things are exceptionally well done in this game. Where the game is lacking is the VR and animation. There should never be 2D movies through a VR game experience, character eyes should be looking at me when they are talking to me and Free-motion movement(where you are not at crawling speed and with a smooth turning option) is a staple of any VR game these days. That being said, there is a beautiful story and elements here that create an enchanting experience. I hope the developer can work on some of these issues before the next chapter release because I really want to see what is next for Allegro and Allegra. Absolut empfehlenswert. Mein System: Mainboard: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, CPU:Intel Core i9 9900K 8x 3.600GHz # 4.800 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti 11 GB, RAM:64GB Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4-3000. It's really a very nice game with great graphics in a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately it was a bit short, had 91 minutes playing time, it could have been more and more activity for the player. But the price wasn't high either, so it's totally fine. I played it with my Oculus Quest 2 and couldn't find any bugs. Everything worked perfectly. The settings could all be saved, the controls ran perfectly. I used very high graphics settings so it looked great. Highly Recommended. Nice little game/ interactive movie. The environments look as beautiful as the trailers show. Default control is for teleport but free locomotion was added as an option. One stick (default right) still lets you teleport as there are places it's needed. Teleport stick also turns, but I had an issue with inadvertently teleporting half the time. I discovered that the B buttons (on Index controllers) also turns, so that's what I used. The climbing is good fun and well done. I wish it were longer so you could do more with that. The puzzles are really easy, and seem more like interacting with the environment to get to the next section of the story. Overall, I'd say it is worth the purchase, especially considering it's for a good cause.
Barely made it 20 minutes in without experiencing countless technical issues, sound becoming out of sync, inconsistency to controls, and having zero clue how to progress. Unintuitive and janky to control. Would have felt like a dated VR experience in 2016. Visuals, environments, and sound design are well thought out but this kind of technical experience is inexcusable. Feels unfinished.
Thank you for sharing ROTU group!
Loved the worldbuilding and all the gameplay interactions! It was fun to play all the instruments, exploring the world, and playing with the environments. Highly recommend playing this game!
