Just all around bad and unpolished game: from childish dialogues and braindead puzzles to buggy interactions and poor performance. The only good things in it are environment and creature design, sound and music. From the very start of the experience you are greeted by a clunky main menu and in-game item interactions and movement do not get any better. You sometimes pass through walls or sink below the floor and ladders with smooth locomotion, in-game hands jitter when trying to grab an object, climbing may bug out and only detect a grab from only one controller. Annoying and very common transitions from gameplay to cutscenes happen in the wrong place, making the character talk to you while staring somewhere else. And in a few scenes frames drop to the level of screen stutter on 6800 XT. And the gameplay itself is not enjoyable: there is no challenge in puzzles or climbing, so all is that's left is an exploration, which is ruined by aforementioned clunky movement and forced cutscenes. Which is a shame since environments are interesting and giant creatures look great in VR. P.S. The game is about an hour long, steam time played bugged out for me.
Please make more! Played on Vive Pro w/ 3070
Heard about this at GDC. Cool little game. One of the most beautiful VR games I've seen.
This is more like Vader Immortal for anyone who does not want to shoot or stab anything. You are guided through the each chapter with a music theory themed mini puzzle. Visuals are top notch and music is really good.
Incredible VR story! It's not really a game, 1000 times better than any of that 360 degree nonesense. You can tell the developers creativity. It's a story you can actually look around and touch things. Thumbs up for sure! For new VR players and who likes easy, pretty, and non profit supporting stuff.
sorta like an escape room in the jungle.
5*
Fantastic game/movie/experience, but criminally short. Luckily I got it on sale and it was worth every penny of the 5 bucks I spent.
Enjoyable enough puzzles. But the really poor controls, immersion breaking glitches and pretty low res graphics means I can't recommend.
