Invisible Mind

Attempting to be an evocative, intellectual story about self reflection instantly falls apart when your English translation team is translate.google.com. Game is little more than a lazily cobbled collectathon using Unreal Engine assets with no cohesive theme. The "dev" likely knew this, so an easy cop-out was to make the setting seem surreal and dreamlike. Instead, everything feels nonsensical and creatively bankrupt as you explore unnecessarily large maps of copy pasted models searching for keys ad nauseam. Navigating the garbled dialogue involves clicking text boxes in generic font like a slideshow presentation. You'll often have to reload the game after falling off awkwardly placed geometry since the creator was too lazy to implement a kill screen. It's frustrating enough to do platforming in first person games, but it's compounded here by the stiff movement and inconsistent jumping. Game mechanics are so poorly explained with almost no guidance of where to go next that the developer had to post a walkthrough in the discussions tab. This product is a fun vacuum and should be avoided at all costs.
