Reviews
If you dont intend to play online I do not recommend this game. Story is about an hour, and towers are as you expect kinda like Mortal Kombat towers... The game plays VERY well and feels smooth, however time will tell if this becomes a discord fighter or if this will have a small but stable community. Note: If in the future this becomes a discord fighter, I do not recommend unless you are okay with that style of multiplayer.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

are you sure? yes im sure
its pretty tuff
5/10 First, the positives. It is a very simple 3v3 tag team fighting game that doesn't do anything too interesting with the genre. The controls are relatively simple and the combos are fluid, somewhat rewarding, and aren't too hard to learn. This is definitely one of the easier fighting games that I've played in recent years. The graphics are nice, nothing too crazy, and the game runs decent on my crappy little laptop. For those worried about optimization if you're in a similar situation as me, turning the graphics to the lowest setting helps with frame rate issues on most maps. Getting an overkill and watching an opponent's character explode into a mess of gore or have their limbs blown off is very funny and over-the-top; great for a game based in the Invincible universe. The story is short and simple. No spoilers, but the game takes place in, what I can guess, an alternate universe so if you're a big lore nerd for Invincible, there's very little to do with the actual story and doesn't disrupt the main universe except for some match ups. The four modes of arcade mode are also very simple and can be completed with relative ease and little time investment. The first ladder has adjustable difficulty and less fights than the other two. The second ladder is hard-locked onto normal mode and you do some more fights. The third ladder is the Hard difficulty ladder with even more fights to get through. The Invincible ladder is a mix between a traditional arcade ladder automatically set to the hardest difficulty and Survival where your current health carries over to the next fight. Now the negatives. As many other reviewers have pointed out, this game is not worth $50 in its current state. When I say it is bare bones, I actually mean the marrow has been drained out and the bones have been left to dry out in the sun for a decade. You can complete the story in a little less than two hours if this is your first or one of your first tag team fighting games, and the arcade ladders can be completed in even less time. I unlocked all the arcade ladder endings for each character in about two-three hours on Normal difficulty. In all honesty, this is a $20-$25 game at best. If you're deciding to pick this game up, I would wait until it goes on sale or has a free weekend. The button prompts are confusing at best and unhelpful at worst. If you're a keyboard and mouse player, Invincible VS gives you button prompt without telling you the corresponding key binds; instead, the tutorial and move lists are broken down into Light (L), Medium (M), Heavy (H), Special (S), Boost (B), and Assist 1 / Assist 2. There were many times I had to retreat to the key binding settings during the TUTORIAL in order to figure out the layout. This minor complaint of mine isn't bad when I switched to controller (The game feels like it was designed for controller), but be warned if you're a keyboard and mouse player. (For those who are on keyboard and mouse, the default key binds are as follows: Light (J), Medium (K), Heavy (L), Special (H), Boost (I), Assist 1 (L-Shift), and Assist 2 (R-Shift).) The Deluxe Edition of the game is simply not worth it. By taking even more money out of your wallet, you get some exclusive skins. That is it. Things like concept art and music can be unlocked via leveling up your player level and characters' level. Some characters need to be nerfed. The two most prevalent to me are Conquest and Atom Eve. Conquest has an infinite air combo. Atom Eve is the best assist in the game due to low risk and her projectile completely negating other assist projectiles when colliding. There is no penalty for rage-quitters. So if you're kicking someone's butt, expect the match to abruptly end when your opponent starts malting. All together, you have an overpriced fighting game that feels like early access. Regardless, however, the controls are super simple to learn and the game is optimized fairly well. TL/DR: Solid fighting game. Some broken characters. Overpriced for the value and time you get out of it. Utterly useless Deluxe Edition. Wait for the game to go on sale or a free weekend.
