The best part about this game is how much fun it is to play with friends even with the ones that play little to no fighting games at all, for them it was super easy to quickly learn and we had some pretty fun matches because of it cause it wasn't a total stomp. I'd say this game is really good for casuals as well as people who played more fighting games like me. The gameplay is really fun, altho I'd say it doesn't really have its own identity and its more like a mix-mash of a bunch of other fighting game mechanics that they found really cool and decided to add it. The roster is really cool as well altho a little small and I hope after Immortal and Universa we also get some better DLC choices, hopefully for Oliver, Agent Spider and Thragg. A really awesome start for a good quality Invincible game and I really hope we get more Invincible games in the future, love the game!

Game just came out and it needs some WORK, yes its fun on the surface level but get past the first 10 hours of gameplay and the cracks start showing. You vs the same exact line up going against the same exact combos in a game that has is supposed to incentivize mix up infinite chains. Invincible is by far the most opressive hero in the game, atom eve will never get tagged in but still somehow setup every single combo for them across the screen wether you block it or not because there is no way to dodge it. Then the games you actually start to win they rage quit and it doesnt count towards your score but for some reason still counts as a win. Finally kill their invincible? well i hope youre ready for Cecil to stop you from closing any distance, and because you didnt want to run the same lineup as everyone else, YOU LOSE. This game does not provide you with enough resources to sustain breaking combos, the first 15 seconds of the match determine the entire match.

An old school tag fighter with a lot of passion for the source material. Deep mechanics and a short but sweet story mode. Easy recommend for Fighting game or invincible fans.

Game is fun and interesting. Fairly unique compared to other fighting games. But the price just isn't there for what the game contains. I actually do recommend the game, but I recommend waiting for a sale unless you are a die hard fighting game fan. the story is VERY short, like an hour and a half at most, hour on average I think. There are single player PvE challenges but I think they need some work. PvP wise 7 of every 10 games is someone leaving because they don't understand how to break other peoples combos. I am sure as you progress through ladder this will get better, but you not only have to be good enough to do that, but also commit a lot of time to do that. The skins on steam are not accessible in base version as well. You will also have to fork up more money if you want the year 1 fighter pass, which seems to include characters (Immortal) that should have just been in the base game. Hopefully they expand the story throughout the year, but also it's kinda too little too late. The story feels very bare bones, almost like it is a prologue of what is actually to come.
