PEAK GAMING

Cool Portal-esque indie game. After some quick fixes by the dev, the game now runs just fine on Steam Deck! (Medium settings, 800p, 30-40FPS)

Pretty great indie puzzler. I can't say I have played anything quite like it. I played the demo and quite liked it pretty happy to see that the quality in the full release is even higher. It did give me some portal vibes, its sort of portal without portals if that makes any sense. What I mean with that is that you go from room to room solving a puzzle while an AI sidekick is keeping you company. There is a nice progression of difficulty, relaxed soundtrack that reminds me of some of my favourite space movies. Dialogue and story is serviceable. Puzzles are quite smart and definitely steal the show. It also has leaderboards and some crazy times on there that I'm not even going to attempt to beat. It also has some secrets which I did not expect in this type of title, very nice all in all

Invertigo is a great game with some nice portal vibes. Changing of the gravity is a cool mechanic (although sometimes rather disorienting) and this makes for a nice puzzle game, trying to put together where you should but certain items to have them land in the right place when gravity changes. The speedrun potential of the game is also quite nice, at least for the shorter levels (Curse you, training parkour 2!), and the in-game leaderboard makes you keep trying to improve your time. One thing I would change is to make the x-ray vision able to be on by default as a setting. Overall this is a great game that I would definetely recommend if you like puzzle games!

As a gamer/speedrunner who (mainly) plays/runs puzzle games, this is a phenomenal game! It has a bunch of awesome puzzles, great VA, and a nice mix of Portal and Manifold Garden vibes, and I LOVE it! The in-game leaderboards also provide a nice challenge: not only beating the levels faster, but with fewer gravity changes if those kinds of challenges interest you. (like me!) Also, “Temperature range exceeded. Use a Battery to activate the Cooling System!”

Invertigo is such a breath of fresh air. The gravity mechanic works beautifully, and is integrated really well into the game's puzzles. As someone who isn't usually much for speed running, the timer was a fun motivator to come back and try to do better runs after figuring out each level. Getting a few bonus puzzles after finishing the campaign was also a pleasant surprise! If you're looking for a refreshing puzzle game, this one is absolutely worth the money. Also make sure you poke the cubes on the main menu for a little something extra!

After already sinking a bunch of hours into the demo, the full release absolutely didn't disappoint. The gravity shifting and resulting possibilities for puzzles are interesting and very well executed. Also, it's got a very nice and inviting speedrunning side in the form of a built in leaderboard for both pure speed and minimum usage of the gravity tool. The possibilities for ever optimizing routes are insane, come join us on the hunt for absolutely brain melting solutions to comparatively easy puzzles, just to go a little bit faster. Or find some other way to solve the puzzles with absolute minimal to no use of the core game mechanic. Both are fun and neither is particularly easy... Came for the Portal-vibes and puzzles, stayed for the movement and speedrunning. And by the way; Your gravity tool isn't worth anything if you don't know how to use it. This room should be plenty of practice :)

Its a great game, feels like a small version of Portal with its own different vibe. Makes me think of both The Talos Principle and blade runner for vibes. I highly recommend it. Also, there is a minor writing mistake in the game, as the word and was capitalised. However, I forgot where in the game. Somewhere between the first and last level.

Really great game, which combines interesting mechanics for a great fps puzzler. In-game leaderboard makes speedrunning super accessible and gives incentive for replayability. Highly recommended!
