Into the Wild is a tense yet tranquil survival game where nature holds nothing back. Inspired by the Norwegian hinterlands, the haunting valley of Jegersdal offers a faithful survival experience. Witness the magnificent aurora and search for answers amid the ruins of yesterday.

I really like this game and can recommend it. Above all, I am impressed by the beautiful scenery, which underlines the loneliness and vastness of the place very well. The crowning glory is the absolutely fitting soundtrack and audios. My most beautiful experiences show the range of sensations. One was reaching safe shelter when caught in a snowstorm and the other was viewing the Northern Lights on a clear night. It's a beautiful game, especially considering it was created by one person. Impressive! I'm looking forward to more features and story updates.

First impression, very chill atmosphere. There's no immediate danger, like zombies or predators. World is very lifeless, which could be accurate to a "lost in the [tundra] wilderness" experience, but even the Tundra biome has life! First playthrough I ran continuously to deplete stamina, panting gets faster the lower the stamina, nice detail. I then mindlessly ran off a cliff and died, first achievement. Eventually made my way to the first story checkpoint. Feels like the walking distance could be shortened or add more things to do. An in-game book or notes would be very helpful instead of beginner guides only available at the menu. If you can check the weather and inventory, having a survival guidebook would be normal. Often saw dips in the ping for both very low and ultra resolutions. Definitely recommend a decent graphics card rather than an integrated gpu. Very slow pace with potential. Feels like an early release game, can't really recommend until game changes up the pacing.
I think there was love put into this game. It almost perfectly captures the Cry of Fear era of games vibe but it just doesn't have much going on. I believe there is a lot of potential to make this a fun experience. My biggest critique is that the pacing was extraordinarily slow. I almost quit before I found the first story point because outside of the story, the game is basically a walking simulator. The environment feels empty and lifeless -which, to be honest, isn't necessarily a bad thing if you leaned into it but I didn't get the impression that is what it was going for- except for the player's occasional voice lines which pleasantly lightened the mood a bit and made me chuckle a couple of times. At the beginning it says that the game is a student project so I am unaware of the developer's intentions for the future of this game. But my biggest complaints are 1. Slow pacing, 2. Doesn't seem to have been play tested very much 3. Not tense as intended. I do think this game has a lot of potential if it goes in the right direction. I feel that if the developer wanted to take this somewhere, the current version could act more like a proof of concept/demo than a finished product.
All in all, I really like this game, despite some bugs or gaps. First of all, amazing soundtrack! I'm so looking forward to the OST!!! :D Plus, I very much appreaciated the difficulty levels - it made it much more easy to first get used to the gameplay and the world! Speaking of which, the world looks very pretty imo - simple but made with love - same with the weather, I love the animation of the snow falling down - it almost looks like little stars! My favourite parts is the aurora tho - such pretty lights! All the story items you have to find can sometimes be quite far away from eachother, so you do have to walk around from time to time, but ig thats also the challenge! Collecting all the story items definitely gives you the motivation to keep exploring! Lovely game, I'm excited to see what's to come! :)
While a seemingly relaxing walk through a snowy valley, the experience quickly becomes a race for survival. While the music and atmosphere of the game are perfectly preserved, it is slow to start and difficult to make progress at first. However, given the find-and-figure-out nature of the storytelling, I think this only makes that stronger. Overall, a positive and promising opening from a new dev!
Into the Wild, doğanın hiçbir şeyi geride bırakmadığı gergin ama sakin bir hayatta kalma oyunudur. Norveç'in iç bölgelerinden ilham alan unutulmaz Jegersdal vadisi, sadık bir hayatta kalma deneyimi sunuyor. Muhteşem auroraya tanık olun ve dünün kalıntıları arasında cevapları arayın.
its not much, but honestly the atmosphere and the vibe is amazing. its def worth a try
This is a game with nice music and a beautiful but deadly landscape. There are some secrets to uncover. And of course, one needs to survive.
А где сама игра? А в чём смысл? Тупо сиди и смотри на некрасивые виды.
