To the people who say it's boring and empty. Go take a walk in the deep forest, but don't forget to charge your GPS/smartphone. This game is full of POI's and poses a huge challenge on people liking to navigate terrain map with compass. It's not a nanny game like they make in the past 15 years, here you need to work hard to win. If you like Hunter games, this one could be for you.
The mushroom🍄picking trip was really promising🧺

About
In Prologue: Go Wayback! no two journeys are ever the same.
A brand new 64km2 world is generated on your PC every time you start the game. Our in-house machine-learning technology empowers our artists and designers to create a system that lets you generate billions of beautiful, natural worlds that are waiting to be explored.
Chart your own course through the rugged terrain toward the distant Weather Tower. How you get there, and whether you survive, is entirely up to you.
Dynamic weather and time of day shape your every decision.
Rain can soak your clothes and drench your fires. Thunderstorms can wreak havoc on the terrain. Blizzards bring snow and the danger of hypothermia.
Forage for edible food, seek sources of drinkable water, and chart your path from shelter to shelter.
No guides. No markers telling you where to go next. Just your instincts, your tools, and your choices.
You will need to read your map, use your compass, keep an eye on the sky, and adapt to the terrain and the weather if you want to survive.
Will you stick to the valleys, searching for shelter? Or climb the ridges for a clear line to the Weather Tower? Will you brave the storm at night, or hunker down and wait it out?
Your story is what you make it.
A new map every time you play
Explore vast, procedurally generated landscapes created through the fusion of our in-house machine learning technology and human talent.

Design your own map, choose a game mode, and select custom game settings to create your own unique run.

i tried this game out when it was free and to be honest it is just meh just know it runs very poorly and have pretty beefy pc it stutters and lags like no tomorrow i will give it credit it is a cool concept and is good looking . i would not recommend this game,
I like the concept and the map, but physics and optimization are trash. So no
Great to change pace from action or shooter games to revisit basic navigation in a survival simulator. Wish we could encourage developers to build more on this game
Have tried a couple of different map seeds, each one progressively worse than the other. My last seed was just a flat forest biome with zero variation. Eventually made it to another cabin, waited out the blizzard storm and night then continued on foot for a bit. Found myself "swimming" in the air, eventually above the trees. This is a great concept. If anything, they should make a version of this where you just maintain your own cabin, survive and maybe have a little garden for planting. At it's current being free I'd recommend it, however if the full game comes out in this same state at any price over 10, then I would not.
Good survival mechanics and navigation!
Sure the map is big, but theres nothing there, very empty. Honestly too boring (ive played it more than it says
