INSPIRE

I've been following INSPIRE for some time and I must say this is a unique fast past and visually beautiful game. It's only grown since it's release and the Developer Nick is an absolute legend and deserves your love! Play it for yourself But I can't recommend this enough

Truth be told I did not really know what to expect when I saw this game, but the artwork looked really cool. I'm so pleasantly surprised by it! The movement is super smooth and the combat feels really fun. Normally with Top-Down shooters I always feel a little restricted but in INSPIRE I can just boot up my jetpack and fly away. I had one issue where I got stuck in a collision, but hey these small things I can forgive at launch.

I have been following this game for a while now, and I have to say for a solo developed game this one is really cool! I love the atmosphere and the music is amazing. I found out the dev is actually a music producer, which really shows. I have only explored a small bit of the world yet, but I wanted to already give my thoughts on this hidden gem!

Fun little game, It's easy to pickup and easy to enjoy. I like that there's not a whole lot of handholding and the game lets you try things at your own pace. I only played about half an hour at the time of writing this but I've already encountered a wide variety of enemies and heard some banging tunes whilst killing them. Not much more I could ask for, for the end of the week. Will probably write a full review once I've finished the game. Gonna share this one with my friends

Saw a random TikTok of a game called INSPIRE, so I decided to check it out. It has a unique stylized artstyle, which I love, and also it gives the player a jetpack which is super fun! Normally I'm not that much into top-down games, because to me they always feel a little bit linear in terms of where you can go. I'm pleasantly surprised that even though it's semi open world the zones are all freely explorable and each zone has a unique mechanic, which I won't spoil. I have had a go with a few of the guns which all seem to bring their own pro's and cons which is cool. So far I'm loving the shotgun! Cool to see that indies keep creating cool stuff.

I love the way the movement works in this game, it's so freeflowing. What a cool way to implement a jetpack into a topdown game! Time to shoot some aliens!

The art style is just gorgeous! the guns are fun to use and I LOVE the music! I really like that it's not as dark as other Topdown ARPGS, which is usually a reason for me not to play these kind of games. But this one is a little bit friendlier in terms of presentation. The abilities are also really cool, being locked to 3 abilities makes you pick and choose the right ones for the right moments, which adds a nice layer of strategy. I recommend!

I keep dying to this huge spider! But this might be a skill issue lol. Either way, this is a hell of fun, even though i suck at it. I can see the dev put a lot of love into this game. Form the music to the world design, the game has a really fun charm. I can't wait to continue tomorrow. I will get that freaking spider.
