About
A stock-themed roguelike deckbuilder where the market you create can just as easily crush you.
Insider Trading is a deckbuilder about manipulating the stock market. Each run you play as a trader with a unique strategy and a deck of market-moving cards. Play your hand to move prices, controlling how the market reacts. Greed acts like rocket fuel, accelerating gains and risk. Only you can decide when to cash out and secure your profits.
Your Cards Break the Market
This is not a trading simulator. It is a deckbuilder built with your choices. Between market days, you enter the Aftermarket to draft cards from different pools, often taking upside alongside risk. Some cards strengthen your deck. Others weaken it. When the market opens, the deck you built is the only thing shaping price movement.
Strange Characters
Each character is a maverick trader with a unique approach to the market. Get to know their quirks as you play. Their starting decks and special mechanics open up new possibilities, encouraging strategies you might not try otherwise.
Precision Over Power
Command the market in each run, creating opportunities and risks as you build towards your weekly financial target. Push too hard and the cost of entry skyrockets. Play it too safe and the market slips away.
Key Features:

60+ stackable pills and perks for wild synergies

Is This Trading?
Nope. Insider Trading is a razor-sharp roguelike deckbuilder dressed up like Wall Street. Outplay the market, amass a fortune, and make Warren Buffett cry. The best part? You won't lose your life savings playing it.

Reviews
This is a remarkably clever game about market manipulation, brinksmanship, and timing. It is NOT Balatro 2, as many of the reviews here seemed to have expected. It is really quite a bit more complicated with tactical decisions at every turn and it is full of tough choices that find you working to figure out how to crash or explode the market -just enough- to come out on top. It is a difficult game with unusual, singular mechanics and as such it does not feel like any of the recent flood of Balatrolikes- it is very much it's own thing. I haven't min/maxed it to death and broken it like some of the more Mentat-minded players here may have so I can't quite speak to whether or not that is actually an issue, but I think most players interested in a compelling investment and stock trading roguelike are going to come out of this happy to have spent the $12 on it. I'm very much looking forward to learning to play it better and getting a promotion!
Самый настоящий андерграунд. Самый настоящий андерграунд.
I can't say I'm much of a fan of the game. It's retro and cool, but it's hard to tell when you're drifting off and not building the right deck. I won once, and it wasn't apparent to me what I did to succeed. There's also just one song in the background the entire time, it kind of gets old fast.
Israel reccomended 10/10 Tel aviv impressed
The demo for this game was good, but I'm not too sure about the release version of the game. It feels like so many games where developers are so eager to add so much stuff into the release that it dilutes the gameplay and makes it feel bloated. The demo was easy to learn and better paced, this game starts off on a much higher difficulty even with the tutorial. I feel like a demo should be indicative of the game, but that's just me. I'm not a fan of devs adding a ton of mechanics to an already well-loved game. Chess has survived thousands of years, it doesn't need new mechanics added every few weeks.
Once you know how to break it you break it forever… and I’m not talking about trillions, rather x 10^40 + figures…. Yes, you can even bring down the price back to below 1000 week on week… my only problem is that the game is linear no much progress et all
Симулятор Магистра Пульса, буквально PUMP and DUMP Для тех кто играл в Balatro, это он только лучше
Pretty boring all things considered. If you want something better to scratch that itch play the demo for MANIFESTO
Не мое, на вид интереснее чем на вкус, в игре же просто, менеджментишь карточки в строке
Is it an interesting game? I suppose so. Does it stay interesting? Sadly no. There is a lot of stuff in here, but the nature of the game does not really encourage you to interact with it deeply. The power disparity between the cards is so extreme that many of them are just not worthwhile to pick up, nevermind keep them. So the experience of the game is that you find one or two cards that are exceptionally strong, and using them your deck becomes strong enough to coast through a week or two with no issue. With that time it is very likely that you can find something strong enough to lower the stock price down to the minimum possible, and then you have essentially won the game. My last run ended when I clicked trade one day then went to take a ♥♥♥♥, when I came back the turn was still running and I closed the game.
