good
Bought me the memories of the first playthrough of Portal. Good puzzles, rosy level designs, soothing ambience. On a deeper level, the puzzles are a reflection of the stress-inducing work of a blue-collar job that you must solve while thinking about past memories to keep you from going insane, all of it to catch some decent sleep. Maybe getting some decent sleep is the only thing we have in common with the rich and poor.
Overall, this is a fantastic effort. Making a puzzle game that feels rewarding, not frustrating, is really difficult — but you’ve pulled it off. With some extra polish and maybe a touch of narrative personality, this could stand as a truly memorable indie game in the same spirit as Portal, but with your own creative fingerprint on it.
Nice short indie puzzle game. The music was very cool adding to the atmosphere of the game with the cool level designs of the puzzles. Some of the puzzles I had to really use my brain to sole but very rewarding once you finish it. Atmosphere: 5/5 Difficulty: 3/5 Music: 5/5 Graphics: 5/5 for what the game is. DIalogues with the japanese enunciation were gold XD.
Clever games curator review: 6.5/10 A puzzle platformer that is fairly short and easy, but well enough done to be a nice change of pace between bouts of harder or more involved games. The core mechanic is switches that can be activated from a distance by “firing” at them, but only if you are currently charged with a different color than the switch is currently showing. EG If your hand is red you can toggle a blue switch to be red. While this has the potential to offer interesting logic puzzles, in practice it just means that whenever you find a switch your next goal is to find a charge point of the opposite color and then come back. Indeed, rarely did any puzzle require careful thought, although they did often require searching the somewhat maze-like levels for the appropriate color needed. Thus, I can say that this is a very casual puzzle platformer. The platforming in contrast can be a bit exacting. The only challenge however is making sure that you wait until the very last moment before jumping as you run towards an edge as the gaps to be cleared can often be very close to your maximum jump distance. That said, it really wasn’t hard as long as you are careful to point the camera down a bit. The levels are fairly generously checkpointed, too. The levels are quite basic in geometry and texturing, however they do have a bit of modernist architectural flair, and are very nicely lit. Personally, I enjoy that kind of thing, probably more than most. There is a story, at least sort of. I did not find it motivating in the slightest, however since it is told solely by narration triggered by walking into glowing orbs you can either ignore it entirely, or at least keep on playing while it is conveyed. In the end this game, while far from groundbreaking, was an enjoyable distraction from other games that I’ve been playing that are more serious, and the price is right!
solid 5/10, easy to turn brain off to
This game definitely fits into the perspective category. With its simple mechanics, it’s fun and slightly thought-provoking. Unfortunately, there aren’t many games built in this perspective style, which makes it a unique experience for fans of the genre.
Short and easy puzzle platformer, but still entertaining enough.
Great Puzzle Game! Really flexes brain muscles. It is combination of fun, brain use and action. Great music and dialogue!! Atmosphere and Graphics: 5/5 Difficulty: 3/5 (bot never misses) Music: 5/5
