Get it at a heavy discount so you won’t feel bad about game breaking bugs. There’s no story. You simply wake up in your apartment, step into the elevator, and realize that it doesn’t work as intended. Despite the appearances, this is not another game where you look for anomalies. It’s actually a puzzle/exploration game where you encounter a new problem on each floor. You can move freely between the floors by pressing the button in the elevator. Although the elevator has only 9 floors, you can click on two numbers and go higher. Floors change each time you start a new game. Each floor is a little room filled with the oddest things. You could be greeted with giant children's toys, a field of odd fungi you can eat, a room with floating blades, or simply an ordinary and boring apartment. Some floors can kill you, but you can respawn back in the room by clicking continue from the main menu. The objective is to move through the floors looking for Rubik cubes. Sometimes it's as simple as picking it up inside a room; other times, you'll need to figure out a basic logic challenge. Some trials are decent, while others are catastrophic. One of the worst ones involves gently moving the mouse to pull the blade out of the rock. The sensitivity is severe since the movement must be accurate and in one motion. Another problem is the game’s darkness. It's so awful that you can't see the Rubik cube right in front of you. Of course, some rooms feature darkness as part of the challenge. They are not great. Overall, there are a lot more good rooms than bad, so the game is decent for a few rounds. There are three difficulties, but this simply means you need to find more cubes before the game ends. Unfortunately, the game is buggy. Most of the time, the cube will not appear when you solve a puzzle, such as in the chess or card room. Then, as in the laser room, you may fall through the environment into an infinite drop. The game’s short so you might get lucky and not get bugs at all.
If you like different simulation scenarios, with unsettling atmosphere, this is the game for you. It wasn't unsettling until I walked into a room with a TV and hands started trying to grab me and as I backed up I walked into someone who wasn't there before. Truly terrifying. Definitely worth trying, ESPECIALLY for the price. (There were some issues I will expand into after the pro/cons) Pros: -Great atmosphere -Unsettling -Interesting scenarios/interactions Cons: -Game breaking bugs/glitches -Some interactions were just maddening (looking at you sword in stone) -Could look a little more refined, but for price, totally acceptable When I died in a room, the game completely broke and I would fall through the floor constantly on respawn or (depending on how I died) I would be stuck in an infinite deathloop. I would have to select New Game after fully shutting the game down with alt f4, but New Game did NOT reset progress. It DID rerandomize the elevator rooms, but the Rubix progress stayed.
Sinopsis

you basically get to experience an elevator, I got soft-locked for tryna speedrun the shroom level but other than that great game https://youtu.be/Xge4UN300Mg?si=mCsyHshKkzoBq4Nz

So im not gonna sugar coat it the game is kinda trashy (not bad trashy) but trashy. The concept itself is kinda cool but. The execution somewhat mid there are rooms that are kinda fun and there are rooms that are super creepy but than there are also just a lot of confusing/boring rooms. I wouldnt really call it a puzzle game for the most part. I personally havent really experienced any bad bugs except for one weird cutscene treigger at the very end. I would love to see where this concept can go but so far its ok for what is and what It costs. (I payed 2€ I think) Also my biggest negative why is there no elevator music In a game about an elevator pls add.
