About
Autobattler where you send misfits into vehicular combat. Your job is to prepare them, deploy them, watch them struggle and finally watch them die or win in massive explosions.
Prepare your drop squad by swapping weapons, vehicles, and pilots to your liking. Select a mission and choose your deployment area on the map. From that moment on, it is hands off. You can only watch as your units try to accomplish their task. Every pilot has their own traits affecting their behaviour. While lost equipment can be retrieved from the battlefield, fallen pilots are lost for good. So take care of them if you want to win. New equipment is rewarded for successful missions.

Seems like it wasn't ready for release? Desperately needs both accessibility options and a tutorial of some kind. As is, it looks like it could be interesting but it's not there yet.
I am willing to change this review as soon as possible because this game seems right up my alley. But..? What is the point of large battles if all the pilots die as soon as they step on the battlefield, especially if you put them in lighter vehicles like exoskeletons? The pilots die one by one on the missions, you are out of pilots and then the vehicles you deploy get destroyed the moment they step on the ground. From what little I've played there is nothing to make you get pilots bacK? Am I missing something? There are barelly more than 20 buttons in the game, no tutorial. You staring walker carries you, but after a while it is all that there is left from your side. There is no credits system, only getting new vehicles that you can't use? Some pilots also have traits that make them aggro your own allies. Like what? That kills the pilot before he even steps on the ground.

Needs a lot of work. Super cool concept but the game needs an easier to read font and a way to get new pilots. I dont think the game necessarily needs a tutorial but it needs at least hints or something.
Review of Game Insanio: Okay, heres the rundown, overall the games idea and potential is pretty massive, right now though its got a lot rough edges. Although I am really enjoying the game I feel theres a lack of replayablity passed the 10hr mark. Further the lack of a tutorial is a major turn off for most players as you can probably see from all the bad reviews. However I feel this is less of an issue if u spend a bit of time playing. My final judgment would be its a nice and neat game with a cute artstyle and a good idea, its not bad but its not amazing solid 7/10 possibly higher with time. Grievances: Okay onto the things I hope the dev sees if you read this far or at all. I almost refunded this game with 1 minute of game play time. I worked so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to get this game to work. I literally spent an entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day to get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ .exe file to launch. (I really like your game this is not a judgment on the dev). Your game has a serious issue, that I had to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crawl though the crash logs and event manager on my laptop to find and fix. This is not something a player should have todo. This game upon launching (for me anyway) when you have a integrated and a dedicated graphics card will attempt to handshake and use the integrated one, in this case its an amd card. I think this may be a bug. Anyway ignoring all the other ♥♥♥♥ and crash files I had to go through to get this info heres the event viewer stuff for insanio. Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000b4a6ca What this means is that it tried to access memory or other ♥♥♥♥ it should not be or does not have access to. Anyway, I tried over riding its launch protocol and forced it to use the Nvidia GPU which it ignored and contined to try and use the integrated card (which I could see by looking though the crashDumps and the .dmp files). In the end I requested a refund which I ended up canceling because the way to fix this is to restart your machine go into bios or what ever system u use and disable your integrated graphics card. This way the program does not know it exists and will use the dedicated card. However I don't want to have to disable one of my cards every time I want to play this game. It is a pain in the ass... Please fix this I beg of you... Anyway for anyone else with this issue this is the temporary fix Yours Truly - GuntirJr a very angry player
I'm shocked at how many negative reviews are people demanding a tutorial for a fairly straightforward game. On my 4th run my only complaint about the game is that I've run out of things to do other than continuing to dominate the AI. It took under an hour to figure out everything there is to figure out, as far as I can tell, and this was part of the enjoyment. Do people just want a victory screen upon loading up the game? Here's a tip for those incapable of experimenting with a single screen UI: three items in refurbishment upgrades those items. youre collecting parts and scraps to refurbish into builds that you enjoy. I expected some half-baked, barely put together idea considering the reviews, but the game has a solid amount of depth with differing weapon/ship/pilot types that play a rock/paper/scissors against each other. The gameplay loop is genuinely fun and has kept me hooked from start to finish. There needs to be more content within the campaign, such as bosses, events, etc. but this will come in the future, you'd imagine, and the pricetag currently justifies the amount of content given the unique idea and great base to the game. Insane that the top two reviews are saying the game is unplayably difficult. That tells me these players refused to try to learn a new game and instead blamed the developer for their own shortcomings as a player. Game needs a tutorial - True, but leaving a negative review for this is insane. The game is not a riddle. Under an hour to figure out everything within the game. Too much RNG - You can manually control a unit, set tactics within mission, see pre-mission enemy types, control speed including pausing, adjust weapon types for enemy unit types. You could theoretically setup multiple stationary fortresses with full anti-air and have one small aircraft lead 20 enemy aircraft into your death trap using the in-mission tactics and loadouts. For an indie autobattler, this has a great amount of depth on release and to ignore everything I just pointed out and claim it is random and unfair, is ridiculous and disingenuous. The game is too hard/unhelpful pilot traits - It's too easy if anything, once you learn how to play the game. Due to the game being fairly easy and there not being much use to having mass numbers of pilots at a time, the addition of negative trait pilots adds flavor to the game and lets you experiment. Game needs a way to get new pilots - Yea it's called playing through a full run. This is equivalent to saying Hades is bad because you died and then alt+f4'd without realizing that's the point, is to die, and then get stronger and learn as you fail. If I was this developer, I'd be so disheartened to see reviews by players who couldn't bother to finish a single run. How on earth do people have the mental fortitiude to be an indie game dev? I'm so frustrated for the sake of this dev and this great beginning to a game that is already worth the price of entry. People leaving authentic negative reviews, that's great, I also feel there is massive room for improvement. This game is far from perfect. To people making straight-up false claims because you didn't even bother to finish a run or use your brain in the slightest, you should be ashamed of yourselves and should avoid anything non-AAA that might have a hiccup in your conquest for victory without effort.
Store page makes it seem like a large scale battler, but in reality you're only ever going to use five of your pilots and can't get more so once those die it's game over. Will be refunding for now but hope that it gets reworked in the future.
No tutorial is kind of weird but besides that and a couple minor things it's pretty fun. Excited to see new updates and possibly multiplayer. Nice game.
собираем микроармию из говна и палок, высаживаем в одну точку, смотрим, победят юниты или нет. скучно + какой-то тактической глубины нет
You know I'm not really sure what the game is? There was no tutorial and everything kind of seemed to die to everything else. Each mission lasted probably 30 seconds? The sightlines and general look of the map is a neat feature but ultimately didn't end up mattering because, like I said, every mission was over in seconds and being an auto-battler there was no control past a "move here" When I saw the pictures of this game, I thought it was going to be a little multiplayer RTS. What it is now isn't for me, but I hope someone will enjoy it. Great work on the art!
Once deployed some guys and they crashed on top of each other, killing two pilots. So... I guess those pilots are just never coming back? Why invest in any strategy that has a risk of losing pilots you can't afford to lose? If humanity is on the line, do you think we could get more than like 7 guys with mental issues? Thought this would be more of a 'fun' simulation game where you expand your strategy as you get dudes and stuff to put them in. Instead it's more like that failed chess roguelike where you actually lose the pieces you play with. So you don't actually build a strategy overtime, you have to actively downscale as you lose or your own AI gets a bit wonky and tanks some shots they probably didn't need to. Could be pretty fun, the bones are good, but it's trying to be more of a 'game' than it actually has the UI/UX to follow through on. Also, make sure to cap your framerates as this game was eating 50% of my CPU without manually selecting it.
