About
Step into Inn Trouble, where you manage a cozy fairy tale inn. Your inn is pre-built, but furnishing it is key: arrange furniture for harmony and to delight your whimsical guests. Upgrade and adapt through charming chaos and unpredictability.
In Inn Trouble, furnishing is crucial. Arrange furniture to create harmony bonuses—like placing a bed near a wardrobe—and choose styles that match your guests’ preferences to maximize their satisfaction.
Host a variety of fairy tale characters, each with unique furniture tastes. Some love certain styles, tolerate others, and dislike the rest. Happy guests boost your income—for example, vampires despise knight beds.
Upgrade extensively: furniture can be improved multiple times, enhancing both function and aesthetics. Watch your inn transform as items become more beautiful. Also, upgrade amenities like elevators and your innkeeper’s abilities.
Each playthrough offers a new experience with randomized inn layouts, furniture, and guests. Adapt to these changes using your skills and tools, making every game uniquely challenging and replayable.
Your final test is to serve Her Majesty the Queen. She has exceptionally high standards of beauty and style and will accept nothing but the very best. While she can be appreciative, she can also be extremely disappointed—and you don’t want to find out what happens then.
Choose from four difficulty levels to match your desired experience: from a relaxing, failure-free mode to challenging settings that will test even experienced players.
Enjoy the "troubles" in Inn Trouble!

It's an interesting concept, and is fun for short play periods here and there. After a few minutes with it, I can feel like it'd be repetitive, at least on the most relaxed difficulty. But it's fun and enjoyable for the type of game it is. It's simple, easy to pick up. I'm very curious how it might work on my steam deck because it's a perfect pick-up and play game when I'm waiting between other things I want to do or otherwise just want to chill with in the evenings or something. I don't want this to be too negative, but there are a few concerns I have though: 1. My biggest concern is that the mechanic where you can only order one piece of furniture at a time until it's been moved to a room gets in the way if you order something you didn't mean to. I have to either move it somewhere empty or destroy it for what feels like an expensive cost (at least early game). The ability to change what I ordered for free until it's been picked up would be appreciated. (e.g. it cost me 30 of the 58 coins I accumulated to destroy a table when I really wanted a chair. I imagine this is less annoying mid-game, but early game when I only had a few coins made it at least a little annoying). 2. I'd love to see an action queue. If I want to swap a bed in a room and put a new one I ordered in the first room, I have to wait for them to pickup the bed, then I can move the one from the warehouse. It'd be nice to be able to plan the actions ahead of time and let the game play it out for me so I don't have to wait for the actions one-by-one. 3. A nitpick: I'd love to see a little more variation in the characters themselves. I'm not necessarily saying more types are necessary, but I'd like to see other designs. Some different outfit colors, hats, something would go a long way, IMO. 4. Finally, even more of a nitpick: Why does the furniture cart follow the bellhop, instead of having the bell hop push it? They're even pushing the cart in some of the artwork for the game. All-in-all, fun and not a very expensive risk if it looks interesting. I enjoy it and will definitely play it more.
Pour ceux qui préfèrent une jolie vidéo plutôt qu'un long texte ennuyant j'ai pensé à vous !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPu0OP7LnvE
Introduction
Conclusion
I've played this developer's previous "furniture"-themed games, and this one is clearly the most polished. You finally get to see how the fairytale characters actually *use* the furniture, which really brings the game to life! Cons: - It has a tutorial. Let's be honest, nobody *loves* tutorials. Pros: - Thankfully, the tutorial is pretty unobtrusive, and after a few minutes, everything clicks. - I can already tell I'll be coming back to this game a few times. Don't expect massive replayability, but it's definitely worth revisiting. - The game's concept is very original. - Good value of money. Things to Consider: - The game offers aesthetic pleasure from upgrading the furniture, but you're not actually *designing* anything. The focus is more on optimization and earning stars, which (as far as I can tell) are awarded for different combinations of furniture and characters. Overall, for this price, it's an easy recommendation from me. It's a unique and charming experience.
Неплохая игрушка, маленькая, но можно позалипать на разных уровнях сложности. Оптимизация, конечно, страдает, у меня комп чуть в стратосферу не улетел в процессе.
Maybe I misunderstood something, but I don't think the Queen is all that scary :)
Controls are awful. Camera moves slowly, zoom seems to have no intermediate between super zoomed in and way too far out. Both include a blur effect that makes me feel motion sick, which I can find no way to disable. UI is badly organized: info windows pop up over each other and are often hard to parse. It also runs very poorly on my machine, despite it easily meeting the listed minimum specs. There are hardly any graphics options to fine-tune this, either. Overall a terrible experience.
