Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Genuinely brilliant and dynamic game system design with endless replay value. Easy to get into, but hard to master. Great for a real solo challenge or casual fun with up to 4 players. It's fairly expensive but well worth the price. Only downsides are that the game has been left for dead by the devs (as of time of writing), and the game isn't particularly well balanced, as some builds (frostbite, non-poison bleed) are simply are not viable on the highest difficulty.
While it's short, Inkbound has enough variety and content to make it worth the asking price. Variety in enemies is low, and there are only a small number of stages. The interesting variety comes from the interesting builds you can accomplish, and how you cope with the smattering of powerful items and passive abilities you accumulate through a game. Multiplayer is by far the most fun way to play. The game difficulty is very poorly balanced for 1 or 4 people, and seems to work best at 2 or 3. At 4, enemy AoE attacks and HP scaling become difficult to manage. At 1, you lack versatility. I would say that the unlock procedure for the aspects (classes) is tedious and takes far too long considering how short the game is. Because the game has few locations and few enemies, getting quicker access to all the classes would help keep ti fresh a bit longer. In particular, the most recent aspect at time of writing, the Star Captain, didn't get unlocked at all by 2 or the 4 members of my play group before we decided to retire the game. Still, overall I recommend it, if you have a small group and enjoy developing builds.

its a damn shame devs stopped supporting this game. each run I start - each time I regret about that fact. here to hope there will be a room for Inkbound 2 in the future - there're sure not a lot of this type of game in the market to enjoy
Game had zero updates for 2 years this game had so much potential and they gutted it like a pig. Disappointed the live service game just was foreclosed on because the developers claim it didnt reach the goals but yet the game released in a better state then it ended in the games basically rng which is fine but at the same time the balance is gone the fun is gone and it just feels like you have to play one way if you wanna win over 200hours I played early access and launch and the recent updates but its a dead game with no future and the devs let me down more then you can imagine and after not hearing any information about the game i see a stream from them saying oh yeah we are making a new game.... crazy
cool!
After playing games like slay the spire, TFT and shape of dreams, something about Inkbound's mechanics made it extremely interesting and unique. Its not as RNG as many other roguelikes, and there are many viable build routes. Characters are all unique and interesting with high skill ceilings. The feel of the game along with the art design is spot on. Its a really well thought game but feels like it could and should have been more. The issue is that theres not many ppl playing it anymore. However, 7 bucks after discount to play with ur roguelike party is still worth the many sessions. Probably about a minimum of 60 hours worth of enjoyment here, and this game's mechanics of movement management and positioning will likely be present in other "turn-based hybrids" too like Baldurs Gate 3.
It is quite fun just as a single player game.
