I'll begin by saying that I absolutely love the concept of this game. The idea of dungeon crawling through infinitely available randomly generated maps while building up a base of operations? I have been waiting for a game to make that happen, and this comes pretty close. Having said that? It's a pretty big miss mechanically speaking. Over reliance on RNG for combat makes early combat a nigh infinite source of frustration. Your chances of hitting basic enemies are way too low for early game mechanics, and the chances only get worse as you exhaust your stamina. So, you miss, miss, miss, miss, miss? And then you have to defend for five rounds just to generate enough stamina to miss some more. Actually manage to land a hit? Shame that the enemy's defenses mitigated all of your damage, isn't it? I would advise the dev here to maybe not treat this game like Advanced Dungeons and Dragons where the point is for the DM to frustrate the player. I'm uninstalling this game for now because I just can't take the endless frustration of being locked into a 1v1 for an hour trying to land a hit that actually damages the enemy. Having said that? I will also definitely be checking back every now and again, in hopes that updates have fixed the issues and made the game as fun to play as I know it could be.

TL:DR? Tried it, uninstalled after a bit over 4 hours. I do not recommend it. Sure, go ahead and try it for free, but don't spend money on this unless you really love it and want to support the dev. Good news is that it's cheap. Bad news is that it feels cheap. Honestly the game isn't terrible for what it is, it's a good first effort from a novice, but it's not great either. It definitely needs a lot more work. I got really bored after leveling one party up to level 4 and starting a new party. Nearly everything feels too limited, and too similar. Every map feels like the last. Every weapon of a given type seems almost exactly like the last, armour has the same issue. Every character feels just a bit too much like every other character. Speaking of that, all the loot is so generic and some of it just makes zero sense. I'm finding the same eight items all over the map under rocks, in ponds, under logs, in crates. It got boring after about 10 minutes, 4 hours in and I was absolutely sick of finding the same junk constantly. Skills, spells, and options are severely limited for the most part though there is one category of abilities that seems to have plenty of options. I was hoping that by level 4 my mage character would have some kind of interesting spell selection but no, I had the same boring options I had at level 1. Burning hands, magic missile, mage armour, some kind of ice bolt hat rarely hits. I ended up almost 100% using a wand because the spells I chose were so unreliable. You'd sometimes hit but the spell wouldn't do much, if anything, or you'd miss altogether four or five times in a row and burn up most of your stamina for zero effect. And there's part of the trouble. The stamina system. It became very obvious right away that controlling enemy stamina, and having lots to use yourself, is the key to every single victory no matter how difficult the fight might seem at first. All I had to do was outrun the enemy until they got too tired to fight, or survive until they couldn't attack anymore, and then it was a guaranteed win. This game needs much better combat, better overall balance. Some characters seem to be extremely inaccurate with certain attacks, my fighter, double specialized in the weapon they were using, was lucky to have a 60% chance to hit most of the time. There's no way anyone with a modicum of talent would have that much trouble hitting an exhausted enemy that can barely move a single square. My mage, specialized in spellcasting with bonuses to hit and high intelligence, would miss more often than hit with spells. Yes, I know most of the combat is affected by enemy stats/abilities/dodge, etc. but it was often just a ridiculous situation where no one was hitting anything for 3 or 4 turns in a row. Not a big fan of the way they have looting and distribution of loot set up. You get 2 shares, one for going on a mission, one for being the boss. If you send hirelings you get a share for being the boss, so you get something no matter what which is nice. If you go alone into a mission you get 100% of the profits, okay, that makes sense. But here's the issue. If you take anyone with you then get 2 shares, they each get 1. Any loot you find if you bring anyone, or sent anyone and did not go yourself, is sold unless you choose to pay for some of it out of your share. Even if you give it to one of the people you hired, and are paying for, and have paid to hire them, and paid to train them, and paid to house them, and pay to feed them, and pay for their recreation, you STILL have to PAY for the frickin' items out of YOUR share and they don't. Even if it benefits them, will help keep them alive, and they're going to be the new exclusive owner of said item - you pay. I don't mind the share system at all, but it makes zero sense that 100% of the item costs come out of your share even if you aren't using them. Anything kept benefits the GROUP so should come out of the overall value, not yours exclusively. It creates an issue though because you could just take all of it and sell it later and come out with more cash, it just highlights a problem with that particular part of the game design. I also don't like the fact that the game is advertised as free to play but you hit a pay wall at level 4. You can't go beyond that level unless you pay. You're also limited to one tile set for your "dungeons" unless you pay for more. The developer seems to think this kind of thing is fine, they replied to one of my posts about the fact I felt calling this free to play was dishonest and they did not agree, but I think that it isn't right to claim a game's free to play then level gate the game and lock 3 of the 4 map types behind pay walls. That's not free to play, it's free to try. A game isn't free to play if I can't access 100% of the content without paying. Graphics? Could be better, especially in town. It's a complete mess and nearly impossible to tell what things are supposed to be. Animations? Could be better. UI? Passable but not good. Sound? Not good. Music? Dunno, shut that off. Gameplay? Gets boring fast. Anyway, give it a go, you might like it. I didn't and I do not recommend this game.
This game won't let me get into the game after tutorial ended and it also slowed down my PC during its infinite loading screen bug. I have i7-2600 and GTX1060 6GB with 16GB RAM. 0/10 literally unplayable.
I like a lot the game genre and this one has several good features to be pointed out. The dices are thrown for every actions you try, like open a trapped box, land a hit etc which makes you feel the D&D like RPG. The maths between each attempt appear in the combat log and stuff like item description is pretty detailed about how it will affect your stats. I'll just make a list of the + and the - from my 4h playthrough. The + _ As stated above, the D&D dices and stuff system _ Number of classes/races available is very engaging. _ Lots of writing work were done here, from the trash item description you just sell to vendor through the deep tutorial to the good/bad effects your char can get, you'll spend hours before you find out something you did already read. _ Background music is soft and tastes the medieval atmosphere, and even if the loop is quite short, it didn't bore me at all through the whole walkthrough. Kinda enjoyed it. _ The lore, the "month" system, the combat system, the stamina system, well all about how the game is designed feels clever and you won't find yourself asking yourself "wut ? I wouldn't have done this that way, I'd have done xxxx instead that feels so obvious". Even if many ideas were taken from other games like Darkest Dungeon, and adapted to this, that's not something you would blame. I personally just read how to do it then do it and it feels smooth. The - now, don't think I've just listed 3-4 good things then go into full blame, that's not my point, the game just released and it needs playerbase to report obvious things to work on. _ I was shocked to see League of Legends old icons in the game, you should remove these asap IMHO. The winkwink easteregg winkwink isn't worth it as I don't know how it goes through the law about this but, well I wasn't really amused to see these anyway, from my point of view at least. _ The voice acting really feels like you can imagine the dev of the game registering his own voice with a 10$ microphone trying himself at a "Ohhh (I missed my attack)" sound. The female one was better though. _ The movements of your toon are glitchy, the animation as well, and your green square on the minimap teleports everywhere like epileptic. When you hold a direction from keyboard, sometimes your char stops for no reason, without any obstacle on the way or anything. I think that should be the first thing to work on to make the game feel smoothier. _ The economic model, well that's my opinion and I'm not a game dev but as a player I felt a bit blocked to purchase anything. I mean, ofc it's a couple bucks for a game and the work the dev(s?) put into it is worth it without any doubt. But there is still that wall which is according to me in a wrong position. Trying the game without being obliged to buy it is a good thing, but it feels like, if it was wow, that you're allowed to play up to lvl 8. You barely have no skills, you miss 70% of your attacks, you came accross 2 enemies in your last dungeons and you do feel like : you enter the dungeon, loot 15 crates, kill 2 rats THE END. In a game such as wow, you can see talent tree with unavailable ones, makes you feel what you could do later, you can see other players and inspect them to see potential future gear you could get, you have tons of fishbait to bite in, here you just have nothing except a shaman goblin instead of a big ant. All of this to say it's too early to block the player from testing how the game evolves after the very-early game. Then there are these already released DLC that unlocks new mobs new maps and stuff, each again for few bucks... I mean, you guys did really release your game with 2 DLC available day 1 ? or week 1 ? or month 1 ? Why don't you just release a game of 8 bucks with all that included, and use the new maps as higher level content or something, it feels weird to me :s That's it for the overall stuff to point out that really surprised me, then for a few more "-" it's more like "are you guys sure about that" but the hitrate feels low, or I have been unlucky for 4 hours straight, but I found myself hitting 70+ with dices like 80%+ of the time, when I needed 20-45 max to hit. Gave my experience a weird taste when I was pushing that "defensive button" 7 rounds in a row just to get rid of the 50% stam debuff to try to hit these goblins 2 times, failing and redoing it all over again. I went with a basic "human warrior" archetype for my first walkthrough just to tryout the game with basic gameplay and I even had 12 dext at lvl 4 just to increase my chances to hit stuff, I think I never had 50% chance to hit a mob, even when the mob had no stam left, 0 hp left and downed on the ground. 9/10 of your combat system is perfectly designed, but the 1 missing engulfs it all. _ The way the loots are shared with your hirings isn't working as I expected to, I went solo to lvl 3 then decided to try to hire a ranger, the "vendor trash item" function was cool, and kept me allowed to sell manually the rest of the loots such as weapon armors crystals etc... from the moment you hire anything, at the end of the dungeon all what you don't decide to "pick" for yourself or one of your hirings just disappear into shared golds. And if you decide to pick a bow for your hired ranger, only your part of the golds will be cut... that doesn't feel "wrong" ofc, but that doesn't feel right either. Why to implement a "sell trash loots" function if as soon as you recruit a 2nd char, everything you don't pick becomes a trash loot... I hope you get me. Would have more to say but not after only 4 hours, doubt I'll play again before patches and updates but still leaving a thumbs up, hoping for some major fixes soonish and pssst any multiplayer feature would really help to hook more people
Combates eternos por el hecho de tanto fallo al atacar. Solo puedes seguir subiendo niveles si vas desbloqueando los dlcs. Demasiado lento. Lo siento no me gustó.
I ending spending the 20.00 I really wanted to support this game..... big mistake Developer enjoy the $20.00. Problem #1 ------------ Game has no way of mapping keys. Problem #2 ------------ Interface is so jenky and screwed up. When you try changing game options in game when you click on option it either changes something else or nothing happens. Problem #3 ------------ A lot of the dungeon tiles you buy or just plain horrible. Hard to see anything even with torch or light spells. Problem #4 ------------ WTF DO I LOOT???? Problem #5 ------------- Your Characters can not attack on a Diagonal. Problem #6 ( The Most Severe Problem That Ruins Game) ------------------------------------------------------------- Your Characters need to give up adventuring and become chimney sweeps. No matter their profession they can only manage to hit 5% of the time while missing 95% of the time. Constantly Missing with spells or melee 10 or more times. EVEN WITH HIGH DEX! This game has the worse battle system of any game I have ever played. Battles are so LONG because YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHARACTERS CANT HIT WITH ANY OF THIER SKILLS!!! I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GAME!
