Needs a polish. Have had some bugs where I should have won the game but didn't. The boardgame is difficult to get hold of and quite expensive (in the UK anyway) so if you're interested in the boardgame it's definitely worth getting this. Overall : good fun
Looks pretty decent and has some interesting concepts but after a while it starts to feel like you're playing against a random number generator rather than using skill
Infection Humanity's Last Gasp... IS IT ♥♥♥♥♥? Well, it's sad. it's really sad, but this game has fallen to the case of RNG. I enjoyed this game, until I quickly realize it's all luck based, just EVERYTHING. no stratgey almost involved, and it just became a killer for me. Sad, it had such a great concept. 3/10 Should be less RNG next time.

一款很不错的游戏!
Bad case of RNG just being immensly against you and you having little to no opportunity to do much about it.
I actually quite enjoy the game itself. It's an interesting take on risk mitigation and relatively enjoyable, if a bit light on the thinking. Why don't I recommend this? Two reasons: BUGS and extremely slow gameplay. It took me an hour to find one game breaking bug: the aspirator tech flat out doesn't work and will prevent you from winning a scenario if you try to use it. It'll let you re-arrange proteins, just like it says, but after the game won't acknowledge the new positions for solving (but does recognize them for blocking spots) so you can never finish that virus fragment *ever*. You can't even move the broken things back to get rid of them; the game won't let you. That'd be one thing, just don't use the aspirator, fine. But the game itself is just sooooo slow. Every round has about a minute of useless, unskipable animations while the outcome of the round is determined. It's fine if you have another monitor and can glance away every other minute, but still, it's inexcusable game design. Other than that, there really isn't a whole lot of meat on the bones for the game. There's I believe 4 or 5 techs and staff members, some random events, and you've seen all the game has to offer within the first couple hours. It is fun, as long as you don't run into any game breaking bugs, but given that it's been two years and the basic bugs haven't been touched, buy the boardgame instead! edit: 2 hours in, 2nd game breaking bug; different one where you can't use a dr's 'undo mutation' ability (game hangs on a yes/no selection and won't budge ever). seriously, it's like the didn't actually playtest game this at all. a simple test of each of the functions -- there are about 5 total -- would have instantly revealed the problem (not to mention the people posting in the reviews and forums).
Well, we all know how 2020 went. So when I stumbled on this game in early 2021, it just seemed to fit the times. In this game, you have to stop a viral outbreak. To do this, you need proteins to analyze. Specific proteins that make up one of the viral cells. If you manage to create the right combination, you can then eliminate that cell. And since those combinations are now known, even if the virus mutates another of that type of cell, you will be ready to eliminate it. And yes, mutation happens. As well as containment failures. If somehow the virus manages to infect the entire world, it is game over. Very interesting game. Highly recommend.
I definitely cannot recommend this game. The flashy visuals try to cover up the extremely limited game play here. Additioanlly, there is no reward for skillful choices. There is too much randomness in this game that can invalidate everything you have done at any time. Even using purchased items is plagued with RNG. Just not a fun game. I ended up refunding.
