Industry Giant

Ich habe das Spiel schon in meiner Junged gespielt. Irgendwann habe ich es hier auf Steam entdeckt. Das war Erinnerung :) Die Grünen zu besiegen LUL (Daumen Hoch wer den verstanden hat!) Sehr zu empfehlen allerdings für neue PC's ist das nicht geeigent besonders nicht was die Auflösung angeht ^^.

Sollte man nur kaufen, wenn man Nostalgie dafür empfindet. Ich hab's als kleiner Bub mir selbst "beigebracht" und nicht verstanden, dass es im Endeffekt einfach nur sehr Clunky ist und immens viele Fehler besitzt. Es war für mich immer ein sehr forderndes und schweres Spiel. Jetzt gut 20 Jahre später habe ich es mir wieder beibringen müssen und musste wirklich leiden. Es hat so viel Qol Dinge die fehlen. Schon allein, dass man die Karte nicht mit den Pfeiltasten bewegen kann ist fürchterlich. Die KI kann oftmals NICHTS und man ist gezwungen Workarrounds zu finden. Dann fällt einem nach wenig Soloplaytime auf, dass das Spiel unfassbar EINFACH ist, wenn man nicht Gegner einschaltet und die Wirtschaft selbst schwankend macht. ABER es macht soooo viel Spaß, wenn man es so simpel wie möglich macht, zu sehen wie die Städte wachsen und das fast nur durch den Einfluss der Industrie die man der Stadt gibt. Es ist toll. Im Endeffekt ist es aber richtig Müll und es ist eine Frechheit, dass das Spiel 10€ auf Steam kostet. Empfehlung geht raus, wenn man verzweifeln möchte.

I am probably mister negative here but this game is something you shouldn't bother. Even revisiting with some childhood memories isn't fun. I mean the graphics are somewhat nice, but it just is too boring and cumbersome otherwise. The whole interface feels clunky, setting up production chains takes way to much time, not that you set up much since half of your chain is already done for you. The music is so mediocre, I like some tracks but it isn't something I would come back to. And if you wonder, yes I have two recommendations, either play Transport Tycoon or Industry Giant 2, no joke the whole transport side was done way better in transport tycoon and this just feels like a really bad copycat of that. And the sequel to this game is just so much better, there is only one minus, you cannot terraform in the sequel, kinda sucks. But honestly the sequal is so much better, like boats make sense, you can ship allot of stuff in a boat. Ever seen a time where planes can carry more than boats? Well Industry Giant in a nutshell, the sequel doesn't do anything that ridiculous. The music man, so nostalgic with the second one and also super chill music you can hear outside of the game. Also the ingame wiki has allot of anecdote about the invention of allot of stuff, I learnt how doughnuts came into place via this game. Anyway does anyone else feel super nostalgic when they see JoWood?

Not the best tycoon game by a long shot but still good for what it is and admittedly I enjoy it as a fun nostalgia trip into my childhood

this game is very old, but will be okay for tycoon genre fans runs at windows 10 correctly, but sometimes crash

是非常好的游戏，这是我玩的第一款"自动化"经营模拟游戏! 1997年的画质在缩小后还是那么精湛!我非常推荐它!!!

Für damalige Verhältnisse sehr liebevoll gestaltet, sehr umfangreich und doch einfach zu verstehen. Habe ich damals sehr gerne gespielt und mache ich heute auch noch. Sehr schade dass es die Entwicklerfirma nicht mehr gibt und leider auch kaum noch Spiele in diesem Stil. IG2 war ebenfalls super. Leider blieb Teil 3 aus. Jemand der diese Art Spiel mag, kann ich Industrie Gigant nur empfehlen.

Das Original von 1997. Es scheint bei manchen Spielern Probleme mit der Kompatibilität zu geben, was sicher nicht verwunderlich ist. Bei mir läuft es einwandfrei auf Windows 10 in 1920x1200. Vermutlich hängt es von der Systemkonfiguration ab, man kann auch etwas mit den Optionen im Kompatibilitätsmodus herumspielen. Zum Spiel: Genauso spaßig wie früher. Man baut ein Transportnetzwerk auf, indem man per Bahn, LKW, Schiff oder Flugzeug die Industrien mit selbst gebauten Fabriken und Verkaufsstellen verbindet. Im Gegensatz zu bspw. Locomotion ist dieses Spiel teilweise richtig anspruchsvoll, man muss die Nachfrage berücksichtigen, nicht zu viel produzieren, nicht zu viele Betriebskosten (Fahrzeuge, Rohstoffe) haben. Neben den Szenarien gibt es auch viele Möglichkeiten des freien Spiels auf Zufallskarten.
