About
In the Night You Had Bad Dreams is a first-person horror game. A strange house within your dreams seems to twist and change, waiting for you to solve unconventional puzzles. You simply need to find the key and open the door. If you find enough keys and open enough doors, maybe the nightmare will end.
"Ever since I moved into this house, I've had weird dreams. For the first few months, I thought it was the stress of adapting to a new place. Two years have passed now , and I still get this strange feeling -like someone is watching me in my sleep. Like I'm not alone in this house. I feel tired all the time. Sometimes I get lost in my own house. The doctors say I'm fine. Therapy doesn't work. I'm so tired."
This game is my first project as a solo developer , and I have decided to release it for free as a gesture of gratitude towards the game development community. They have played a crucial role in making this project a reality through tons of tutorials, support forums, and free assets available online. Although I acknowledge that it is not flawless, I simply wanted to contribute something and hope that people find enjoyment in the experience.

I'll be brief - it was interesting, the puzzles are not bad, I especially liked the polaroid level. It was a little boring in the middle, the whole game takes place on a sprint, fortunately it is endless here. I would like to see Steam achievements and more sounds and background music in the next games. Good luck to the developer
Free PT style game, the puzzles and keys all feel like while they have a specific order they have to be tagged in, there has been definite love and attention put into crafting this. While I cant claim the maze section was fun, it’s a devs first game and despite the rough edges, this shows a hell of a lot of promise. Def worth a look.

I’m genuinely impressed that this is your first game as a developer. The puzzles were engaging, the suspense was tangible, and the atmosphere was effective without relying on unnecessary distractions. The focus on game-play quality really stood out. The jump scares landed well, and the creature design was solid. Some puzzles took a bit of extra time to work through, but nothing ever felt unfair or overly complicated. We especially liked the use of cameras. It was a clever and creative mechanic. The re-spawn feature, paired with the dream-themed message, added an interesting layer to the experience. The overall concept felt fresh and original, and we appreciated that the enemy behavior focused more on flashing and disorienting rather than the usual frantic chase and kill approach. It made the tension feel psychological rather than purely survival based. Our only significant issue came with the garage puzzle involving the shelf maze. Even with our device volume set quite low, the audio during that section was overwhelming. The music and sound effects felt excessively loud, almost as if the speakers were pushed into the red. It crossed from being atmospherically intense into being physically uncomfortable. We had to nearly mute the game to continue. Despite that, the experience as a whole was creative, immersive, and enjoyable. It is a strong debut that shows clear passion and originality. We are excited to see what you create next.

Actually really like this. i love horror games that rely mpore on atmosphere than monsters and i fell like this game does exactly that. The house keeps chainging around you and while there is a monster i didn't feel like that has the focus. That being said, i did get stuck towards the end because i wasn't able to find a key and the game didn't give any additional clues. Still think it's worth giving a try though! :D
this was a really good indie horror game. loved the puzzles and kept me hooked the whole time!
