Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In His Time, developed by TearyHand Studio and published by Kodansha, is a quiet, emotionally driven puzzle adventure that prioritizes reflection and empathy over challenge or spectacle. From the outset, the game signals that it is less concerned with testing player skill and more interested in guiding the player through a carefully constructed emotional journey. It tells its story through small moments, symbolic interactions, and understated puzzles, creating an experience that feels closer to an interactive storybook than a traditional video game. The narrative centers on Olly, a young boy navigating everyday life while grappling with grief, loneliness, and the search for meaning. Rather than presenting a single dramatic event, the game unfolds through a series of vignettes that explore relationships with family, neighbors, and the wider community. Much of the storytelling is indirect, relying on implication and metaphor rather than explicit exposition. Ordinary tasks such as helping others, fixing objects, or completing errands are imbued with emotional significance, reinforcing the idea that healing and growth occur through small, consistent acts rather than grand gestures. Gameplay is built around a variety of light puzzle mechanics that are woven directly into the narrative. These puzzles are generally accessible and rarely punishing, often emphasizing intuition and observation rather than complex logic. Some puzzles are tied closely to the story’s themes, using symbolic actions to reflect emotional states or personal progress. Others function more like short interactive moments or minigames, providing variety but occasionally feeling less integrated into the emotional arc. While the game introduces a wide range of mechanics over its relatively short runtime, not all of them receive enough development to feel fully realized, which can make the experience feel slightly fragmented at times. Visually, In His Time adopts a soft, storybook-inspired 2D aesthetic that complements its introspective tone. Characters and environments are stylized in a way that evokes childhood imagination, with gentle colors and simplified forms that make the world feel safe, warm, and slightly dreamlike. This visual approach reinforces the game’s perspective, presenting events as filtered through a child’s emotional understanding rather than strict realism. The environments are not densely detailed, but they are expressive, allowing mood and symbolism to take precedence over realism or scale. Sound design plays a critical role in shaping the experience. The musical score is understated and emotive, often carrying emotional weight in scenes where dialogue is minimal or abstract. Characters communicate using a non-verbal, pseudo-language, which removes literal meaning from speech and places greater emphasis on tone, music, and body language. This choice enhances the universality of the story, allowing players to project their own interpretations onto scenes, though it may also distance some players who prefer explicit emotional cues or spoken dialogue. Thematically, In His Time explores subjects such as grief, faith, patience, and personal healing with a gentle touch. Spiritual elements are present but not forceful, framed more as a source of comfort and reflection than as doctrine. The game avoids heavy-handed messaging, instead allowing players to draw their own conclusions from the events and symbols presented. This restraint is one of the game’s strengths, as it treats its themes with sensitivity and respect rather than turning them into moral lessons. Pacing is deliberately slow, encouraging players to take their time and absorb each moment. For players accustomed to fast progression or constant mechanical engagement, this can feel uneventful. However, for those willing to meet the game on its own terms, the unhurried rhythm allows emotional beats to land more effectively. The game’s relatively short length works in its favor, preventing its quiet tone from becoming exhausting while still leaving a lasting impression. Overall, In His Time is a thoughtful and emotionally resonant indie title that values atmosphere, symbolism, and human connection over mechanical complexity. While its puzzle variety and pacing may feel uneven at times, its sincerity and artistic intent shine through. It is a game best suited for players who appreciate reflective storytelling, subtle emotional exploration, and experiences that linger in feeling rather than challenge. For those open to a gentle, introspective journey, In His Time offers a meaningful and quietly powerful experience that stays with you long after it ends. Rating: 7/10

The story in this game was absolutely beautiful. The artwork was simple, yet effective and engaging. I cannot rave more about this game, and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to play it. Keep tissues nearby because it takes you on an emotional roller coaster!
家庭の不幸、いじめなどテーマは重く暗いが、ビジュアルは可愛く、個人的にはかなり楽しめました。 パズルがイライラするところなくスムーズに解けるところがよかった。
