Love this game :))
Immortal Darkness is a hidden gem. Agreed with all the "recommended" reviewers about it being a fun RPG dungeon crawler. Thou I would like that I can trade/sell some items ( like Spells ) I don't need/want that take up space since I can't "switch over" items from my bag to the chest to use what is/was in the chest ( like health ) You can't click to use items straight from the chest, have to delete items to make space. Everytime I save game, it has 2 file ( GDS and Backup ) So if I save 10 times I'll end up with 20 files on my local folder. No blocking is not a big deal to me. I can run around to dodge. If you don't mind what I've mentioned above, you should give this game a try. ( edit the part I can't move items around. ) I was watching one gameplay ( cos I can't find the all the captive on level 6 ) and saw the player able to switch things around but with mouse click. So my guessing is you can if you play with KBM but I am not able to do it with controller.

Excellent game ! Lovely cute characters but the atmosphere and action is dark fantasy. The found notes tell the story in a brilliant way. Sorry to see this game go from the Steam Store, it deserved success so much. Best of luck to the masterful developers ! I feel enchanted and wistful leaving the world, art and work of : Damon Dubois, the game concept and art is amazing. Chris Shrigley, brought to life masterfully. Ted Peterson, such a fine story teller. Joel Benefiel and the rest of the blessed devs of **Giant Space Monster** Thanks guys ! A happy gamer
It's a shame this game was take off Steam. However you may be able to find this game else were online. If you do I highly recommend you give it a go!
This game has everything one could want in a little dungeon crawler: puzzles to solve, enemies to battle, loot to obtain and a plethora of spells at your disposal. The spells alone give it replay value, if only to test out all the different ways you can build your attack style. The game is very charming visually, with music well suited to the atmosphere. The story is generic, but gives you enough of a drive to keep hacking away at the real meat of the game: the dungeon. Quite honestly, it's criminal that this game has been so overlooked, because it is definitely one worth playing at least once.
I have a controller XBOX one and it is great. I have been having the best fun so far. I am about 7 hours in and loving every minute. Lots of good Lore and also there is plenty of secrets. A1. Best game for a while for me. It really makes you think strategy wise.
Whilst I have bought this game (and have no regrets), it is freely available on the official website, updated to be even better than it is now here. The game itself is wonderful. Just simple enough to be accessible for everyone, just complex enough to scratch that itch of management and strategy. Good story, lots of nicely paced levels, full of secrets, loot, and even occasional npc's, with a trusty merchant always tucked away somewhere to be found. Two factions and neutrality to choose from, those of us villain and vampire inclined can rejoice with the possibility of joining vampires too. Yeah, so, basically, go download it, it's free, if you like it: donate to the devs
Just finished my first run thru. Took 30 hours. Had a great time. I'm not a big gamer at all, but the game was easy enough to figure out. You play Shade, a vampire killer in a world ruined by vampires, and infected yourself. You are off to kill the Pale King in his dungeon before you fall to your infection. As you desend into stronger opponents and harder puzzles, you gain skill, power, and tools yourself. There are the vampires, as well as a Cthulhu inspired old gods chaos faction, and a holy faction. Your choices make a difference to the story line. I found the graphics impressive for a low cost game, incredible attention to detail. Challenging to play. A very well made game.
An interesting dungeon crawler with MMORPG mecanics and lot of secrets, cheap for its potential. Numerous ways to kill your ennemies, extremely satisfying and fun.
В целом игра не плохая для подобного жанра (цена качество). Достаточно проработаны миссии, где нужно даже подумать. Музыкальное сопровождение минимальное в этом минус. На пару дней засесть поиграть, но не более
