I'll Kill Her is an intriguing, narrative-driven game that dares to explore intense themes and raw emotions through the lens of an artist, Stephanie, who battles against societal norms, personal relationships, and mental health issues to affirm her creative vision. Stephanie's story is engrossingly told with authentic and emotional depth. She defies expectations, skips classes, and distances herself from her loved ones to prove her art's worth. As she deals with rejection from the university that favors commercial viability over personal creativity, players are taken on a roller-coaster of emotions and struggles that challenge them to understand Stephanie's perspective and the tough choices she must make. Mechanically, I'll Kill Her strikes a balance between narrative choice and action, putting the player at the center of the narrative, with their choices shaping Stephanie's journey. It allows the players to feel a profound connection with the character and understand the complexities of mental health and personal ambition. Each choice feels meaningful, leading to a spectrum of genuine and impactful outcomes. The game employs a visually striking art style, with Stephanie's photographs as a vital gameplay element. The integration of her work provides a window into Stephanie's mind and emotions, establishing a deeper connection between the player and the character. The dynamic soundtrack complements the graphics, intensifying the emotional beats of the story. While the game is thematically rich and emotionally profound, it does have a few hiccups. The pacing can occasionally feel sluggish, especially in the early stages where Stephanie's story's foundation is laid out. Moreover, there are moments when dialogue can feel a tad heavy-handed, risking immersion. However, these minor issues outweigh the overall experience. Despite its edgy title, I'll Kill Her isn't a conventional action game. Instead, it's an emotionally charged journey of an artist's struggle against societal expectations and personal trials. It’s a bold exploration of love, mental health, and the fight to have one’s voice heard. If you're looking for a game that presents a thought-provoking narrative, explores challenging themes, and leaves you contemplating long after you've put down the controller. I'll Kill Her is a title you should consider adding to your library.

Well, its boring, short, chaotic kinetic novel about girl who accuse whole world in her failures.
In this interactive comic book novel, we follow the story of Stepanie, an artist who surprisingly is trying to get recognition for her unconventional artwork whereby combating her past trauma and managing her relationship with her boyfriend despite her mental struggles. Ok, you may be thinking, that sounds like an easy enough plot to follow, what's the catch? Well, the way the story is structured I would say otherwise as it bounces back and forward between the past and present in each chapter without telling you the specific timeframe. That's for you to figure out, which isn't too hard to do but it can get confusing if you're not carefully inspecting the story. I would say this is one of those games where you should do more than one playthrough to get the full picture. Thankfully it isn't too long, about 20-30 minutes depending on how quickly you're reading skill is. At first glance, this comic is visually popping with impressive sensory to make the story come to life like eyes crossing back and forward to convey nervous behaviour or even subtle sound effects like a bang on the door and a glass breaking. Even a couple of the chapters have their own distinct style to differentiate between the timeframe at the beginning when Stepanie is getting comfortable forming a relationship with her boyfriend, I notice a lot more warmth and cosy colours were used to highlight a safer time. I mean just look at this water drop shot and don't tell me you're not impressed if I need to showcase an example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3143818940 These are mostly reasons why I'm endorsing this game, as well as the story being intriguing which I wouldn't have done before my second playthrough, mostly due to, in short, wanting a little from what was given. Maybe an aftermath showcasing what happened after the final climax or even stretching out the content for 5-10 chapters to examine these characters I came to enjoy exploring the dynamic of, or even developing the other underused characters like the art professor or the mother. I felt it was a missed opportunity to not do that. Despite my mixed feelings on that topic, I am still fond of this game for what it is and for existing in general, being a template to be expanded upon so that many developers can be inspired to not shy away from creating interactive novels to be read under many people's fingertips. I like to believe there's a high market for these alternative way story-telling games or at the very least just know I'm one of them.
Не знаю как вам, но мне понравилось, история просто до мурашек по коже Если что можете глянуть обзор https://youtu.be/JEyQReE6U7Q
yeah this was great, stunning art, heartbreaking story; the whole interactive comic book visual novels concept is amazing and would love to see it expanded, glad i bought this
A very short story packed in a comic book style. The story is told through 10 chapters. While that may sound a lot of content, each chapter is really made up of multiple comic book pages that can be completed in less than 5 minutes. To advance through the panels, simply click the mouse button. Images are mostly static, with rare special effects. The most you will see are eyes blinking or hear the sound of a bike driving away. Once you’re done with the short story, you can check out a couple of images in the gallery or play the dress-up game, where you can earn multiple achievements for different outfit combinations. The game is great for achievement hunters because it doesn’t require a lot of effort.

Игра короткая, 35 минут. Но очень интересная работа. Не сложная, но жизненная. Рисовка интересная.
