AI voice-acting is insufferably bad
F2P looks and feels like a mobile game adaption somehow. Has no bugs or anything from what I saw, but the controls are weird and as much are the graphics. The idea is somewhat cool, but didn't catch me at all.
Excellent demo experience. It's basically what you'd expect if someone took the survivor-like and tower defense genres and then mashed them together with a sci-fi backdrop of fighting against a swarm on a hostile planet. Drop into an area, setup shop, protect against waves of enemies while upgrading and making your "build" and then trying to stay ahead of enemy attacks and protect your mining structures (or mech) until it's time to extract. Game gives off vibes of Starship Troopers: Terran Command minus the narrative, exploration and map size. Focuses much more on smaller map skirmishes against waves of enemies from different directions while you try and extract as much resources as possible from the surface. Meanwhile you have that "survivor-like" progression model of getting the option to pick upgrades based on your progress towards resource collection. Definitely makes for some interesting replayability if you want to experiment with different setups to clear maps. Good mix of units available to deploy as well as a variety of enemy types to deal with. Hell, even the mission type itself changes depending on whether or not you are deploying general units or piloting a mech. It is kind of fun doing the mech missions because you are trying to move around the map and collect resources and drop them off at a fixed point rather than turtling around a handful of stationary mining machines. The player's overall mission path in the UI looks a lot like what you'd see in a rogue-lite as you can't go backwards in order to follow every mission branch. However, you can see the details of each path in advance so you can plan strategically on what type of rewards you want and/or mission types to complete. I suppose the game could benefit from some minor polish here and there when it comes to the UI and animations (seems like it's designed to work with mobile devices) as the production value isn't quite as high as some other tower defense games. But overall, it doesn't prevent me from enjoying the fantastic gameplay underneath.
While there's a lot more focus on active abilities and moving "towers" and "heroes" around, it's a great take on the Tower Defense gameplay loop with a bit of that RTS style tactical combat mixed in governed by an "extraction" based mission structure.
RTS con defensa de torretas. Entretenido y algo retador. Una buena opción para salir un rato de la rutina
可玩性还可以,画面一般,操作一般,没游戏玩的话,值得一试。
2025年了没想到哦还能有这么垃圾的游戏,操作优化稀烂,不推荐
Great demo to showcase the features of the main game. Some tweaks here and there to polish up, and this bad boy is set for the highway!
太难 第一关都过不去 好几次 玩的不爽 不想玩了

I wasn't sure what to expect from reading the demo reviews an the reviews here so I really did go in just knowing it's a tower defense game with a twist. What I found was an interesting mix of RTS tower defense with mixed mission types and instead of it all being focused on 'don't let the core take a hit or you won't get a perfect score' it felt a little more extraction shooter-ish. I think for me the major missing piece in the game right now is the over arch of upgrades, play a raid for maybe a payout that lets you buy +5% to all dps, etc. That way you have the unique raid unlocks but then post raid you have points to put into your play style and make the next raid a little easier or up the difficulty. I heard a lot of people talk about dialog and voices, I would agree that there are some context parts missing and some odd sounding lines and inflections but I would expect that later down the line a review of dialog would solve all that. I think it's better than a lot of what I've seen out there so great work to dev having something that was good and not nothing or something really painful. I highly recommend the prologue but I'll add that they game needs plenty of cook time to really settle into it's niche.
